Some of the insights of BJP loss is:
1. The Hindutva narrative may have actually backfired. Firstly Dalits are not comfortable with Hindutva. Secondly 400+ was seen as BJP wanting a strength to change the constitution. This the opposition used to spread the fear amongst Dalits that reservation would be removed. The BJP lost 50 seats on this including about 25 SC/ST reserved seats. Maybe this will make the BJP give up or tone down the Hindutva strategy and look for a more secular narrative.
2. What I am worried is about that coalition compulsions should not impact defence preparedness in any way especially finance.
3. Like you said also worrying is that the perceived weakness of the Government may embolden China and even Pakistan to be more aggressive.

As an OCI US American Citizen I cannot vote in elections in India. Disappointed. Would have been better if BJP got 280 290 seats. Even when BJP is in the majority it always included its ally parties.
You have to confront ideologies for permanent solutions. Unfortunately nobody is challenging the ideologies themselves.
For the first time someone is challenging the Dravidian ideology in TN. Forget which party he belongs to. He is directly challenging it.
In Punjab a Sikh needs to challenge the Khalistani ideology At present they are having a free run. I have challenged a few of my Sikh friends and believe me I got them thinking. This person can be from any party Congress, SAD (he does not have to be from the bjp). Has anyone challenged Amritpal on his beliefs on a one to one basis in prison. If this is done even if his mind can’t be changed, I know for a fact that we can put doubt in his mind. For example if we ask him to explain what is clearly written in the Sikh holy books.
For Kashmiri separatists unfortunately if we ask them to read the Quran it will only confirm their beliefs. Here we have to use the ever growing number of ex Muslims to challenge the basis of the ideology itself.

Sir I am from Punjab, The reason behind 2 Khalistani supporters winning from Punjab is 1) Vacuum of good & strong Leadership amongst all the political parties of Punjab 2) Khalistani sympathizers support from countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia 3) Distrust of people towards all Political Parties of Punjab esp. after Kisan Andolan 4) A kind of Permanent feeling of distrust & suspicion in the hearts & minds of the people of Punjab against the State due to 1947 partition, Punjab Partition in 1966, Operation Blue Star & Sikh Genocide of 1984 5) Resurrection of Khalistani sentiment propagated by Khalistani Sikhs from Foreign Countries through Social media & Punjabi Songs. All of the above & various other factors are creating a vacuum space in Punjab which is being filled by the Khalistani elements.

This appears to be no different than the US in position to elect a convicted felon who most likely will be in jail. I am personally confused as to why the Indian citizens would opt for criminals and desh drohis as their leaders when it appears that India is progressing as never before under Modi. I am from Punjab, I don't know what punjabis are thinking to elect a khalastani. 😞

Most probably she is hinting at a nation for Zo people(Kuki-Chin-Mizo). Which will include Mizoram, South Manipur, Chin state(Myanmar) and Chittagong Hill tracts(Bangladesh).

Khalistanis are not problem.i'm raising this issue from last four years.its the local media mostly run by communist ex terrorist and people with vested interests from canada.misinformation disinformation hate vicious campaign by this media is what helping these Khalistanis. From 2016 to2020 i was in canada i know everything about this network tried many times to contact concerned authorities but no response.
I'm telling you in advance just within 2 or 3 months there will be a huge protest in punjab demanding opening trade with Pakistan.
If concerned authorities will not take precautions about this and take strick action to counter these people kasmir of 90's and punjab of80's will be seen as a 10% of what is brewing.
