Thanks for such a great review! My husband and I just purchased the Bessport 2 person for a few upcoming trips. It’s always nice to see a tent tested outside and not just set up in someone’s living room 😂👍
Update: we've taken it out on two trips so far, and it performed brilliantly. We had rain both trips, and this little tent held up fantastically and kept us nice and dry inside. The ventilation is great, too. Such a good option for those of us who want to get out there but don't have a huge budget to do so 🙌👍👍
thanks! I did a follow up bad weather test too if you're interested : )
2kg tent for £50 sounds good! 👌🏼 Neat review, Dan! Well presented. All the best
Thanks Mari 😊
I've been debating getting the 3 person Bessport in the burgundy for weeks until this video, Thank You, That must be why I've subscribed-CB3
I like the look of the 3 person tent they do.. they look massive 👍
@@CampLifeBushcraft I'm 6"3 300+, I need the extra room for when I'll be Bikepacking next spring/summer, Enjoy your channel very much, more product reviews please-CB3
Nice job Dan.
Great review, that tent seems a bargain for that money!
Thanks for sharing.
Take care, Steve. 👍👍
Thanks Steve, yeah it’s not bad, it may be a bit tall for high winds but for a budget job it ticks some boxes.
Great review Dan If it wasn't for Christmas I would be ordering one. Maybe after. Look forward to the next video. :-)
Thanks mate 👍
Thanks for the very detailed report, I am currently buying the 1 person or 2 person tent. The tent is needed for my bike tours, so packing size and weight are important.
No problem, if you look on my channel page I’ve recently done a follow up to this, testing it in poor conditions.
👍
great review - just what I was looking for. Like your accent btw. Greetings from Germany!
Hey, thanks!
Bargain tent Dan and having options is great. Just recently found you chanel mate and love your laid back style, It's almost Aussie lol
Thanks Rod, appreciate the compliment, I spent time in Australia in my twenties, and loved it. 👍
I want to use this for motorcycle camping. Seems to be a really good option.
I’m thinking of get one of theses tents myself great review great video 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Nice one buddy looked not a bad wee tent indeed
That is a great looking tent. My Kelty tent failed me on my last tent. I had it for years. I may picked this one up to replace it. Nice video. ✌️
its not bad, I'm looking forward to a proper trip in it.
thanks for watching

Dan : )
I bought this one after a lot of research and I recommend it. I got the 2 man and it's very roomy but not heavy.
Nice tent for the money. Good review.
Thank you.
I'm 6'2" and have used it with my med size dog and there was ample room for both of us fantasic tent for the money
Great review Dan well done. Atb Stuart
Thanks bud 👍
Good review bud. Been thinking about getting one like this.
Thanks mate, I’ve used it a few tunes since, still liking it 👍
Love this tent, I got the 1 man for backpacking and it's the best tent I ever had
Awesome, I was pretty impressed with it myself 👍
I agree I love it so much I bought a second one had issues and needed parts
I love mine too. ☺
The dual sides is pretty handy. When you unzipped the other side and put your pack out there I thought oh heck yeah I like it.
yeah I like that too, if it was a nice day you can open both sides right up and have a great view and airflow : )
Nice review mate, well done. Plenty of head room in that 👍🏼
Thanks mate. I couldn’t believe how tall it was! Might not be the best in high winds but it’s not bad for the price.
very interesting I like all the set up options..I will have to check it out!
😁👍
I placed an order for one today!
I got the tent and dit was awesome ...just need to see how it holds up in a rain storm
great stuff, I wish you many nights of being dry inside : )
Great tent for the price, good review.
Thanks
Looks good Dan! Might give it a shot.
I'm currently using one man budget tent from Amazon....£27.99!! kept me warm and dry on a really wet night!
And enough space (just) for me and Ray (my dog) :)
Which tent is that Lee? Thanks,
Tried this tent last weekend. It's ok for the money. I didnt get wet, it withstood the rain and wind. It's not "cut" properly though, the absides are hanging a bit with no chance of straighten them with the gear that comes with the tent. This is a bit of a downer. Still ok for the price.
Looks like a solid package but you never know until it goes through a rainstorm. Hope you get a chance to put it through the ringer
it's in the plans, Rob and I are trying to arrange a Dartmoor trip in the new year, and it always rains there!
Decent size that mate, quite a bit of space, the porch area is good. Do they do it in wild camping colours?
New puffa jacket Dan? 😉
There were a few different colours (link in the description 😂) but I liked the grey. Good for hiking on Dartmoor, should blend in with the rocks 🤓👍
I’m sure the tent should of came with a gear storage above your head unless that’s just the 2 man version, great video just subscribed 👍🏼
There are attachments for a gear store of some kind in the top. I don’t think they had them ready when they sent it out to me.
Thanks for subscribing 😁👍
I like the inside height and two sided porches. Looks like it would be alright in bad weather - do you think there’s enough guying for strong winds? The price is very good! I’m 6’ 4” so probably a tight fit for me...but that’s true for most lightweight tents! Look forward to seeing how you get on with it. Good review. Thanks. 👍
I’m not sure on the guying, however the outer clips to the inner which would help I’m sure.. I’ll find out in the future, hoping to take it out on Dartmoor. 😁
Nice little tent Dan especially for nothing 😂😂 only down side for me personally is that you have to put inner up first other than that not bad atvb jimmy 😎😎
I agree, but on the plus side sleeping in just the inner would be great in the summer 👍
@@CampLifeBushcraft true true
£50 for a 2kg tent is good I think - good review thanks
Thanks Ade. It’s not perfect but for the price it’s alright 👍
Too heavy also inner pitch first which is crap in rain but wait , hold up ! £65 for the whole kit ! Suddenly that's not too bad! May even order one for the boys. Nice simple review , good job!! , can you please take it up a mountain on a windy day 😘 I will come along and have the force ten as back up 😂
Inner pitching first is a downside, but I’m seeing the summer benefits of sleeping in just the inner. And the clips make getting the rain fly on very quick.
That being said it’s a budget job so will never be perfect .. I will take it on Dartmoor with you if you bring something I can fit in to in an emergency 🤔😘
@@CampLifeBushcraft yeah , the F10 will fit 2 no worries 👍 be interested in seeing this tent in the flesh 👍👍👍
If you pitch the ultra lightweight set-up with footprint and outer, can you then hang / use the inner once pitched? Just wondering if it’s a way round the inner first pitching for wet weather?
I just bought this tent. I need a little more info on attaching the guy lines.
Guylines were easy to set up. Great tent
I thought it was going to be way more expensive than that, that's a great price for what you get! I'm guessing you're going to use this in places like Dartmoor? Just because of the colour that is. Atb Steve.
Yes, it’s perfect for backpacking/hiking trips. . Perfect colour for Dartmoor 👍
@@CampLifeBushcraft and bikepacking
Hey great video 👏How has this tent held up for you since you made this?
Thanks, it has done ok.. the worst weather I camped in was on Dartmoor in heavy rain and high wind.. it stood up to the wind no problem.. however putting it up in the rain was an issue as the interior got wet, fortunately I had a micro towel to dry it off with.. this for me is its biggest fault.
@@CampLifeBushcraft was this more due to user error or is the tent not very waterproof in general?
It is waterproof once up.
where’s it made in?
Whenever would happen, do you think 2 small adults could fit in this 1P tent. On amazon bessport writes 1P tent inner size is 100 cm wide. I can't really decide as I'd mostly use the tent (alone) just to sleep one night or two and not really for lounging inside it. Thanks for the review!
Only 1 person would fit. Too small for 2 definitely
@@CampLifeBushcraft Thank you so much! I watched your video again, and the 2P in my case might make more sense indeed. Cheers
I got a question what happens if it is raining that you want to set your tent up so you going to be soaking wet inside you can't sleep in there
It’s a good question. I’ve had tent similar in the past and rain can be a problem. I think the only saving grace with this one is the speed you can pitch it. The clips make it very fast.
Hilleberg niak
Is there still a place for a 60L Backpack in the tent?
I would say so, the spare porch would be the place for a large pack and your boots.
@@CampLifeBushcraft and is there place for a 30kg, 1,20m tall, 4 year old child? 😉
Ha anybody used it extensively? How reliable is it?
I’ve used it a couple of times, I’m taking it out on the weekend somewhere that will give it a proper test.
@@CampLifeBushcraft Looking forward to it!
@@silvanigra me too
$60ish sounds about right.
These $600 tents are insanity.
It's nylon and plastic.
I can't spend that much money on $30 of material.
What a shame it's not green
Almost identical to an MSR Elixir 2..... we need to stop buying Chinese knock-offs.
God what a boring review, how many times does this bloke want to sigh 😕. Nice to see such enthusiasm (not)
