@Azfar Hadi Pretty sure it's because it's abilities and move pool are...really not great. I love Meganium to death but outside of Normal and Grass moves, It doesn't have a whole lot of utility sadly

I mean to be fair, Scar/Vi has quite a lot more dialogue than this game does so it's a great deal more work to actually voice it. That said, the Fire Emblem games released for Switch has CONSIDERABLY more dialogue and most of it is voiced, so yeah.

Funnily enough I think scarlet and violet’s Pokémon models are on par with this game’s which is a welcome surprise, but yeah the overworld and performance are cheeks in comparison
This is a meme in Ray’s community where Emolga absolutely destroyed Ray. I don’t remember the exact context though. Anyway, because it happened to be so strong, Ray joked about it being a legendary Pokémon early in the game.
I did like New Pokemon Snap but I wish there were more maps / More Pokemon included. Maybe they could've done some stuff like: a Savannah where you can see Litleo and Zebstrika An ominous cliffside with caves where you see Garchomp and other dragon types. . A small village where we see more urban pokemon and go into an abandoned building with ghost types Swampy wetlands with wooper and croagunk and other poison types And the levels they did make could've been longer, perhaps with checkpoints that you can go back to if you wanted only to see a specific area. But most of all, I wanted Ralts to be in it.
Getting the full body of the Pokémon in the picture is one of the biggest factors, and Ray just constantly zooms in on them when they are 5 feet away Also, the scoring is based on actions of the Pokémon (special hidden actions give you the most), how much of the photo it takes up (close, but not too close), if it's facing the camera, the placement in the middle of the shot, and if there are other of the same Pokémon in the picture. So you can get a really cool picture of a Pokémon doing something, but have a terrible score because the rest pf the factors are low, but a mundane picture of three of them standing together can do better
I have a pretty intense fear of deep water, so when I played this game, I got to Staaaage 2(?) of the Wishiwashi level, and it eats your pod, I had an actual panic attack, put the game down, and never played it again.
Ah yes the playthrough of Ray failing to grasp what the game told him explicitly: that the stars don't identify better ranked pictures but rather categories. Or rather the unique sets of animations for each Pokemon. That's why some pictures seem arbitrarily put into one category or another, one is before and the other is right after the animation begins. Edit: Imagine if the game were to explicitly show you a diagram of how the pictures are scored. Like what does a perfect photo look like? That would be nice to know....

Poor thing is kind of underpowered compared to its starter brethren. It isn't a cool looking wild animal, and also anti-grass bias.
