DUDE--this is the best RV travel video out there. You guys are showing actual/real travel...not these "everything-is-beautiful" glimpses of road life. BTW--you remind me a younger Rick Steves; a younger Rick in a Class B!
This is one of the best demonstrations of van life in the winter I've ever seen. I love dogs, too, but that's a few too many in one vehicle for my tastes! So glad to have discovered your channel
Wow just discovered your channel I also have 3 dogs and have been debating what type of RV to get. Mine are not quite as big as yours a Great Dane, Labrador and a Corgi. Great to find a channel that deals with my issues more specifically. Love those Sprinters.
Nice video….gotta like folks who have dogs and travel with them. I recently acquired a Thor Sanctuary so that we could go a few more places, although I hope to avoid temps that cold!
Great video on a go with the flow Revel trip to see how it does in cold weather. I think the Revel is one of the better compromises for a short wheel base 4x4 camper van…have to have my shower. How do you think it would be as a daily driver?
How is the Lane Keep assist on this Sprinter? Does it have electric steering assist and will steer you back in lane? Is this built on a 21 chassis? Did they improve the drivers assistance functions from the earlier models? I heard it was downright dangerous to use in the '19 model and pretty much had to be turned off because it slammed on the brakes when it tries to correct you back in the lane, especially in constructions zones. It's nothing like GMs supercruise or the blue cruise on Fords?
1980 I lived in a small Winnebago with my best friend, Dash. 114 lb female mountain lion. Google, Dwight Bernheimer, headline will come up that reads, Mountain lions are NOT for everyone... PS. I'd rather travel with one mountain lion than with three dogs. Just Sayin'... Good stuff thanks for posting.
Want the Revel for my dogs and I to travel in plus have as a mobile work station. Videos like this showing real winter life are very helpful. Thanks ! (ps did I see a Model 3 at the start of the video?)
100% get a dehumidifier, there can be an issue with moisture finding it's way down to the EIS module and the water ingress will prevent the vehicle from operating. Not uncommon on the Sprinter, mine did it and the module took 2.5 Months to arrive due the global chip shortage.
Do you find the 4x4 system doesn’t bind up as much on moderate roads - since it’s about 65/35 split?? And the mid ship jump seats can they fit two adults and be belted?
You never mentioned if the coolant warning went off after warming up? I've had that problem several times when the weather first turns cold. I've often thought it takes a few mornings for the computer to recognise the contraction due to the cold. You probably know this trick but in really cold weather cycle the glow plugs 2 or 3 times before you hit the starter. Leave about 10 seconds between turning the plugs back on. Have a GM and a Jetta and have started both with out plugging in at night at -40. When its that cold there is no mistaking they are a diesel with the clatter when first started:)
Beautiful rig! Can’t get around three dogs inside though. Not a fan of eating dog hair, drinking dog hair, sleeping with dog hair, walking around with dog hair, and pretty much having dog hair on everything; my allergies are acting up just watching lol
You can check the weather on your phone before you go! No need to drive into something you can avoid and get stranded. Just FYI. 😎 The dogs are adorable. More interesting to watch than you hanging out in the backyard of some brewery.
Thanks for your video. One question. 20,000 between oil changes ? Are you certain about that ? Although the manufacture suggests 20K, under perfect conditions, I believe that several additional oil changes over the life of your cab is cheaper than a new engine. Be Safe !
As the owner of a 2016 Sprinter that converted 5 years ago, I too was very apprehensive about going so many miles between oil changes. We have the OM651, 2.1l diesel. I get an oil analysis at each oil change. First oil change at 10,000 miles and was told the oil had lots of life left. Each oil change after was done at 20,000 mile intervals. Each oil analysis came back with great numbers and could go more miles before changing it. I’ll stick with 20k intervals, maybe tighten it up after 100k. 97,000 miles and going well.
I would change the title and add "with 3 Dogs" to it. Maybe something like "RV Camping with 3 dogs". It might get you many more views. Also do this in future videos
leaving a leash on your dog while it running loose is just a bad idea........not only could they get caught up on something it also teaches your dog its OK to run wild with their leash dragging.......
the problem is a 100 pound DOG should not be in a CAR VAN. for a HOME. HOW awful that you are making this dog attach to you and your habits and smells, only to abandon him
How the hell you going to take four dogs big dogs with you on this trip you lost me right there this whole video will be catering to the dogs not interested
Love watching dogs happily run thru snow❄
The white out blizzard... That was insane you guys are insane I love it
Your neighbors must love you! You’re the neighborhood Sanfords!

Came for the Sprinter, stayed for the dogs lol. They're obviously well cared for and much loved. Hope the Newf found a good home 🙂🤞👍
Tight space for dogs, i can imagine the smell
Yk it’s funky asl in there 💀
Ventilation deals with smells quickly. I have a Taxa Tiger Moth and added a Maxx Air fan - stuffy smells no issue after that.
The wet dog smell time 3 🤮
That’s exactly my thoughts too! 😂
That’s what I said! And the hair everywhere!!
I really enjoyed your winter adventure with your three adorable 🐕 dogs. Good idea putting a baby gate to contain the pooches. Happy tails.
Stoked to have found this channel! Love the video style too, trip prep is a huge part of the experience
This video made me happy thank you
This is one of the best demonstrations of van life in the winter I've ever seen. I love dogs, too, but that's a few too many in one vehicle for my tastes!
So glad to have discovered your channel
Great video love it especially those beautiful dogs 💖🐕
The Pups are having a blast!
I like your inside the van videos and explanations just bought the terrain and your info is helpful
Another awesome video many thanks!

Love the dog content as much as the Sprinter/Revel content! Planning to get a Jayco Terrain for similar adventures with our black lab in the spring.
That was neat to watch!
Great videos…..absolutely love all Out of Spec channels.
First time viewer. Good stuff! Entertained by the blue bag hood ornament!
Awesome, thank you for sharing.
Nice video….gotta like folks who have dogs and travel with them. I recently acquired a Thor Sanctuary so that we could go a few more places, although I hope to avoid temps that cold!
Epic video Kyle
Snow at this time,of the year ? Awesome 🤩
Great walkthrough of how you use the revel
Thanks for video. My goal is to own one of the Revels.Very cool.
Your right your wife seems a little grumbly! Great video!! You can tell she’s not interested in the trip a bit. Great video about the Revel
Great video vlog.
Wow, this is pure insanity. I am at a loss for words.
Yes basically a dog house 😑… that was very uncomfortable to watch 😳 I would rather walk . I’ll meet you guys there .
A newf! Great dogs!
Wyoming is a beautiful state..❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
Oh. Alyssa is out of her shell now! Big difference from the plug in euro trips.
Great video on a go with the flow Revel trip to see how it does in cold weather. I think the Revel is one of the better compromises for a short wheel base 4x4 camper van…have to have my shower. How do you think it would be as a daily driver?
I was shocked at how high you keep your heater. We keep ours at 55 98% of the time. I’d check ur heater fuel levels often imo.
It is a desiel heater. If they have fuel for the van they are good
Wow road noise interior noise is pretty bad, just FYI.
It's a van, pretty much expected.
all terrain tires due to the 4x4, so naturally louder than all season tires.
@@blueman5924 sure, just some feedback for the video. I don't need the reason why. How thanks for pointing that out.
Can you talk about how you financed something like this? They’re so cool!
The dealer generally offers rv financing
Could be one Big whole Advert/Review of the RV
Iv been thinking about financing one instead of paying rent. I just worry how long the engine will last
@@marcs8991 diesel engines last a long time but at some point your DEF system will go out and it can be expensive to fix
Yes, Their No Poor
A cup of warm water would have loosed the poop bag ! LOL !
How’s insulations over all since you mentioned some cold air coming through the door ?
grabbing my Revel this week! question: have any problems with your water lines freezing and cracking ?
"Intresting" is not a word.
"Intrestingly" is not a word.
That's interesting.
Studded tires? Where can you have studded tires?
Yikes those are icy roads but the sprinter can handle the weather.

12:21 pull over I want to play in snow!
Go App State! 🤣 fellow Boonie here and picking up our Revel on 3/1!
When you put it in 4 wheel drive it stays in 4 wheel drive! He said that! What would he expect it to do?
Una pregunta dónde trabajas y cuánto cuesta la transit que tienes _4x2?
Did your water not freeze? How cold did it get?
Dog food and whiskey! My kind of road-trip 😂
Now jackets for the dogs?! OMG!!
And they can also choose color!
How are the dogs when you are eating dinner etc in Revel?? We also have 3
Nice Van! However could only imagine the smell with three large size dogs in their...

Why is your dashboard flashing like that- 14:00
Does the van have locking differentials? Do you bring chains for the tires?
Why ask her what she thinks? You said it all. Just drive already!
Hey, never leave a leash on a dog. Ever see what happens when they are running full tilt and the leash gets caught ...... always take the leash off.
You never mentioned if the coolant warning went off after warming up? I've had that problem several times when the weather first turns cold. I've often thought it takes a few mornings for the computer to recognise the contraction due to the cold.

How would you like to travel with this guy? Does he ever shut up?
You have a fulltime job taking care of your dogs, how much fun is that?

U didn't show where guys sleep
How did you get car like this? Can you show or help me find one?
@36:10 It's not often a woman says, "I don't want anything longer".
What? No plug in RV! You polluter!!!
Diverge? Or could it be…divert! Hmmm!
40 percent of space in the van for dogs is basically non sense
You can check the weather on your phone before you go! No need to drive into something you can avoid and get stranded. Just FYI. 😎 The dogs are adorable. More interesting to watch than you hanging out in the backyard of some brewery.
Cold air is coming through the closed door! In a Mercedes? Wha??
Newfoundland…there is no substitute!

Great video thank You for sharing, the question I have is that your wife didn’t seem to enjoy your trip.
I suspect you could have a channel just on dogs and vans; as others have done.
Teddi is adorable
I’m sorry I think it’s crazy that people don’t travel with their dogs especially if they travel by RV. Those are family members congratulations to you
Dang, Brother, that van is in total disarray and it’s not all because of the dogs.
Start drinking decaf!
I've seen almost most of your videos, so I realized that you spent more money on fuel than on an electric car
Starting at…..$202,401….I just looked it up.😐
Pre pandemic you could get them around $150k. Still a lot of money but $200k is nuts.
leaving a leash on your dog while it running loose is just a bad idea........not only could they get caught up on something it also teaches your dog its OK to run wild with their leash dragging.......
You live on potato chips and RedBull LOL
You paid to stay in the junkyard?
Nice van and all that but why don't you want to keep the newfie? Don't you know what a fantastic breed they are ???wtf
Three dog night.
Lol bag stuck on hood of vehicle 😁 🐕💩

I noticed to that the other dogs have jackets and booties on but the other poor guy had nothing I felt so bad for him 😢
👏👏👏👏❤
Ballsy. I like that. But these rigs were built for this kinda driving.
👍✌️
TMW (too many words, ------my, my)
Smelly or what. 😳
"...foiled our plans.".
you just made your trip more uncomfortable.. a single dog would be a challenge..you took 3.. good idea
Rolling kennel! All the hair. Ugh.
