    Hey Chris, I really like this format of video with the whole guitar build in one, I also really like the series builds but sometimes it’s good to see a guitar come to fruition in one sitting 👍🏼
    Keep up the awesome content my friend 🍻
    Meranti is in abundance in Australia so I’ll definitely have to try a build with it

    This is one really nice looking Guitar. Great Job. I have always wanted to learn how to play but I am 53 now and my fingers don't move like they once did. Nor do I have the budget to start now. Being on disability it does not give me any extra income to spend. One of my biggest regrets is not learning when I was a lot younger.

    I absolutely love what you have built - it looks fantastic. I'm not sure that I share your enthusiasm for meranti however. My experience with it would suggest it varies enormously both in colour, density and quality. You clearly have used some higher end pieces but I have seen plenty of pieces that were rubbish. I also understand that it's a rain forest timber which is frowned on here in Australia. I would love to see what you could do with some Australian timbers although the eucalyptus timbers tend to be rather heavy.

One suggestion if I may...the signature "Highline" on the rear cover...you need to put decal of that on the front of the headstock...your work seems too good not to have that logo displayed as an additional marketing tool....👍

    Hey Chris love the guitar I have a question and while I have searched through your videos and other you tube vids I cannot find a answer. I am finishing guitars as a side gig for Lynn Ellsworth (Boogie Bodies) Lynn likes a natural finish on top with a painted back. This has proven to be a huge problem for me. Is there a way to do this without having a obvious line between the paint and the stain, maybe a way to blend them.

    • @HighlineGuitars
      @HighlineGuitars  2 года назад +1

      Apply the paint with a high end airbrush, like an Iwata. Using a big spray gun lays on the paint too thick.
