- Hey guys! In this video, my Italian friend Matteo tries to say a bunch of English tongue twisters! Of course, tongue twisters are designed for native speakers so it's normal for them to be especially difficult for non-native speakers. But this is just for fun! It can really help you loosen up when speaking another language. Enjoy!

Hey Elissa, great video! I have a question for you: how do you think someone with a british accent would pronounce "Eddie edited It"? Would they use the flapped t in this case or a "regular" british t?
It depends! There are so many British accents. They would probably use hard Ts or stop Ts/glottal stops depending on the accent.

Sarebbe davvero molto interessante se riuscissi a fare un video in cui tratti l'argomento dell'intonazione. Purtroppo è una tematica veramente poco affrontata (anche se negli ultimi anni le cose mi pare stiano cambiando), ma di vitale importanza nell'acquisizione della corretta pronuncia.
Magari parlando proprio della tua esperienza, e di come diamine hai fatto a sviluppare un'intonazione in italiano così precisa (sei mica una musicista?)

Il livello scolastico mi ha permesso di perdere tutto in poco tempo e ricominciare ogni volta è stato più difficile ancora che abbandonare. Comunque grazie, ci darò una occhiata.
prova ad ascoltare ogni giorno le one minute news di BBC oppure a guardare i cartoni animati per bambini dove parlano in maniera abbastanza neutra scandita e lenta. Visto che non abiti all'estero puoi focalizzarti anche solo sull'ascolto e sulla lettura. Una volta che cominci a capire, poi puoi focalizzarti sul parlare.
