Agreed! It‘s a shame Skies of Arcadia never got a re-release (on a newer console) or a remaster. To make things worse Gamecube and Dreamcast didn’t sell that much, despite both being amazing consoles.
Thank you for putting in the effort into getting this translated to english (even with the errors, haha) great job! Definitely subscribed. I wish you luck! 💪🏾
I have just found your channel, and I love these long retrospectives. The AI translation is a little out of sorts at certain parts, mainly numbers, but that's not a big turn-off, and I am sure it will get better as you bring more videos over from your main German language channel. I look forward to seeing a lot of the other retrospective videos you have on your original channel translated.
Very fitting new translation for the Dreamcast's 25th Anniversary today! Still want to get my hands on one someday, I really find it to be one of the most fascinating consoles ever.
Great Stuff, I definitely felt a bit of the sadness when Sega decided to step away from making machines. There was so much potential with the Dreamcast, which me and my folks all gathered around to play.
Unless I missed it while focused on my game, this really undersells how Namco's Soul Calibur simultaneously put a knife in the back of arcade distributers and made Sega's own fighting game ports look second class by comparison. This was a huge deal, as the arcade had long been the source of graphics state of the art. This was a recent game that looked ugly by comparison and cost arcade operators much, much more. Suddenly, arcades were an ad for the Dreamcast, and later with Tekken Tag, the PS2. Things were already bad for them, but this pretty much sentenced them to become museums and party centers, far outside the view of most gamers.
Most underrated console ever made! It was ahead of its time, especially with regards to online playing and innovative games like Samba de Amigo, Space Channel 5, Chu Chu Rocket etc. I really wish I had bought one back when it was released, cause it‘s hard to find specific games for a affordable price.
Great documentary. I would recommend someone do the voiceover for you, something so uncanny disturbing about AI (cadence?) plus the numbers are off as others said. Great work here though
Oh man the AI translation was actually so good that I completely forgot it was an auto-translation and didn't even notice anything sounding off until 24 minutes in. Impressive how far technology has come.
Mi apoyo, me suscribo me agrado toda la investigacion y los videos mientras narrabas, muy bien hecho para saber mucho de la historia de Dreamcast, mi consola favorita. saludos.
what's with the random audio cuts? still a great video! boy oh boy do i miss the 90s/00s gen of consoles. for me the PS3, Xbone 360, and Wii are the last generation worth a damn. there used to be so many different kinds of games and IMO modern games are boring and like Hollywood game devs are just making endless sequels of games instead of creating new stuff. i guess nothing lasts forever.
Dreamcast was so ahead of its time--and eat machine to own I [dataloss] that Dreamcast not fixing the problems with Sega it could never fix also took out HeatNet. HeatNet was my favourite way to play games online back then. Oddly I actually can feel nostalgia for HeatNet =O
The Dreamcast have been technically Sega‘s best system, but it was my least favourite Sega systems, it was mainly a placeholder for the PS2 and once Sony announced the PS2 and it’s gained it was pretty much over for Sega.
Where have all the numbers gone? Oh... it's unassisted AI. Explains why there are some pronunciation errors and all numbers are not even read. I wish I'd speak german to watch the original cause a lot of work seems to have been put in this one.
I used Heygen to translate the video from German into English. And as you noticed the AI messed up the numbers. But I promise that it will get better 😅👍
Skies of Arcadia was my favorite JRPG for many years. Thank you for mentioning it at the end. Good luck with your English channel!
Thanks 🙏

Yep, unfortunately the AI translation is not perfect. But it's better than nothing ^^

Oh the nostalgia, keep up the good work, you should definitely have more subscribers. You now have one more
Thank you 🙏
Decent translation! Liked, subscribed, commenting for the algorithm
It seems that the AI had difficulty translating German Numbers. Even so it was a good effort and I appreciate all the research you did. Very in depth
Yes, the AI is not perfect. But it's better than nothing. :)

I like these types of videos. You do good work.
Thanks for watching 🙏

You could use a GDEmu 😁
excellent work! Thank you and congratulations🎉
Thanks for watching
Watching this as I wear my new Dreamcast tshirt I bought yesterday at Tokyo Game Show.
I appreciate you being open about the AI
So often I catch it and I cannot stand it because it sounds so wrong
But for you Ill put up with it
Thanks a lot 🙏

I will consider this in future projects 😉
Grandia 2 and RE code veronica on DC was my only game back then before I bought Ps2, I was still using Amiga 1200 mostly.
2 of the best Dreamcast games of all time 😉

27:38 Lowered the price to _____ Yen. What??
Sega blue skies is what i still dream about, Sega for life.

great way to watch your videos again in English language
Gg, ive only played a port on an emulator , vigilante 8 second offense
Vigilante 8 2nd Offense is great! I played it on my N64 back then^^
@@PixelChronicles-yt me too :D i just wanted to see the dreamcast and ps1 versions :D they are all quite different and ACTUALLY have different devs
I know the original channel.
how do you like it? :)
@@PixelChronicles-yt It's strange to hear you speaking English.
The editing need much work😮
why do you think so?
I'm so tired of this. Why are you just quickly speeding through a pre written script. Anyone can read a script. Have a more conversational style.
This video is AI translated from German intl English. Its the best I can do since I don't have the original project data anymore
@@PixelChronicles-yt Do you not know what numbers are? Do you not notice they are missing when reading the script?
god damn AI script videos
It's only the english-translation that is done by AI
