I think the second fish you thought might be a bream or snapper is actually a Tarwhine. Looks like a Bream (pointy mouth) but is bulkier for its size (and better eating).
Sick video again Timmy Turtle. Juvenile snapper mate a lot peeps call them a squire at that current stage but they are a snapper(insert Latin name). On that note nice work plucking a couple out of the mouth of the Brisy brown snake is a bit of a feat around here along with the a Thready and a Jew. i don't normally use the boat in conditions this bad its not to bad around creeks and small rivers and such. also i have to be able to carry the raft to the waters edge and get it on and off my roof for transport so this for me is as large as i can make it with out having a second person to help get it around the place. its a struggle as it is haha. cheers conor
Love your videos man, they're funny with some good fishing. Also to reduce the waves when in the channels with bad swell I'd add another 2 pipes underneath to make it more stable and maybe add 300ml hard wood sides around the outside so it's sorta like a box. Keep it up man 👍
That first fish was a small Pink Snapper, they're awesome eating, that one was probably too small though. The way you can tell it's a Pinkie is because it's pink (obviously), and the blue spots at the top of its body.

maybe had a outrigger float for stability but here in the grate state of Texas if we have a electric motor or a gas motor of any kind it has to be registered and have # on the side :-(

love the raft. I will have to put some toe boards around it so I wouldn't knock stuff overboard. If you can ride that thing out in some rough water like that, the lake and ponds around me will be a perfect place for a raft like that. How much do you think it weighs?
that makes it 100-120lbs. Looks like 6" pipe. I may try 3 pipes 8 or 10" pipes to keep my feet dry. I am 230lbs and would just use a paddle, cooler (full of beer), tackle box and a couple poles and a couple toe boards to keep from knocking stuff off the raft. Very cool. I have been going through youtube looking at others with the same concept but yours seems to work the best. The elbows up front seem to make the biggest difference. oh and your trolling motor set up is awesome. Love the foot pedal. Heck I might make a video and tell people to subscribe to your channel. "TIMMMYYY!!!! lol!
hey mate a good app to find out what fish are is idfish its worth about 15$ but it has every single aussie fish and it even has the id process where it asks u fresh or saltwater teeth no teeth colour fin shape ect and it will tell u what it is also for a fish finder i recon the deeper portable fish finder would be perfect for u have a look at it just hooks up to ur.phone

i think those cod things are called scarpie and you should add some pvc rod holders on you pipe boat

1st fish was a juvenile Snapper. They call them Pinkies south of the QLD boarder and Squire in QLD.
