    So true of that how it does show you where you are going until you start the trip. Something they need to work on the app of a new updates and tips and better new restaurants to go to for big orders.

    How can I as an Uber Eat driver collect an outstanding salary from Uber Eats? All attempts to speak to customer service hasn’t been successful. I’ve uploaded the necessary documents but the app kept rejecting it even though I’ve tried I several times.

    Hey Patrick sum quick questions is does uber eats require for u to have obtained your license for a certain time like uber or what and do Uber eats, Uber drivers get a tax return also or no???

    • @patrickcuneta
      @patrickcuneta  5 лет назад

      Hey Pedro, thank you for your questions. I'm not sure if you need to have your license for a certain amount of time, but I know the requirements are a lot less than for driving passengers and stuff like that. You only need to be 19 years old, have a car 20 years or newer, insurance, license, and that's pretty much it (as far as I know). Also, you don't get a tax return because technically you're like an independent contractor. So actually you're supposed to pay taxes at the end of the year like a business does. Thanks for watching! (:

    I have been paid $3.44 for a trip. I hate the fact that you cannot get someone on the phone who truly can help you nor do they speak English fluently and some words are lost in translation. They don’t pay for your time driving to the restaurants either. Also, there is no way to speak to the UberEats team. And don’t ask about wanting to drive UberEats and Uber Rideshare. They will stop you from going online to do UberEats until your background comes back for Uber Rideshare. I think it’s idiotic. Also, if you or someone who rides in your car have allergies and sign up for Uber Rideshare you are REQUIRED to pick up passengers with service animals regardless of the risk imposed to your safety and the safety of your passengers. This is very dangerous and I think there is a resolution to this. Such as asking if drivers have severe allergies, as I and my children do, and marking their accounts as being excluded from picking up said passengers. It’s not a discrimination issue it’s just a safety concern. Think about it like this. Let’s say you have a driver with severe allergies to pet dander. A passenger with a service dog gets into their vehicle. Their airway begins to close while driving. Now the driver while driving at approximately 60 mph cannot breath & passes out. Now they have an accident. Why? Bc Uber wanted to make money. Now they have opened themselves up to a major lawsuit if their are survivors or not.

    • @patrickcuneta

      I haven't tried DoorDash personally, but from other drivers I've heard it pays about the same as Grubhub. I'll try it out soon though!

    Hey Patrick. Great video man! Pros about Uber Eats is not dealing with passengers as opposed to Uber! Sometimes it's a nice break. Cons would be parking in cities and having to smell the food when you're hungry!

    I do UE in NYC on bike and we also get bonuses for doing a certain number of deliveries. Do they do that in other cities?

    • @patrickcuneta
      @patrickcuneta  5 лет назад

      I can't speak for other cities, but here in the Vancouver, WA area they offer bonuses like that when it's later at night (I think after around 10 or 11 PM). Not during the day though. That's really cool that you deliver by bike! Thanks for watching (:

    • @macro16
      @macro16 5 лет назад +1

      +Patrick Cuneta In Manhattan, the bonuses are generally and extra $10 per 5 deliveries all day, plus bonuses during the weekends, and at lunch and dinner. like 4 or 5 bucks apiece.

    • @patrickcuneta
      @patrickcuneta  5 лет назад

      Wow, that's really awesome! That can definitely give you a nice boost in earnings. Do you know if that's specifically because you deliver by bike? Or is it just your whole area?

      @@patrickcuneta first of all when u go to pick up the food most of the time it's not ready, so there you wasting time. Then people that live on apts they don't provide you the gate code or building so there you looking around, sometimes at night you cant even see the numbers, they won't get out to a visible place cuz these assholes want their food at their doors. So you go thru all this and you only get between 3 or 4 dollars NO TIPS!! I REMEMBER ONE TIME I WAS DRIVING IN DOWNTOWN IN THE AM AND OMG, SO WHEN ON MY WAY THAT PERSON SENDS ME A MSG "OH I PUT THE WRONG ADDRESS, DELIVER IT TO THIS" I'M LIKE WTF AND YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE ADDRESS ON THE UBER GPS. THEN TRAFFIC OH NO I CALLED UBER AND THEY TOLD ME GO THE ADDRESS THEY GAVE U AND PUT CUSTOMER NOT FOUND AND DISPOSE THE FOOD. THAT WAS MY LAST DELIVERY.

    • @JAHAZIIELable

    Yes cool side gig job but very stressful on driving to get the orders on time. Even though it can be in the bag all the time as customers may trip off of there food being hot. Yes no boss to hassle you on every little thing on the job. But still this side gig job needs improvements and training to do the job better for UberEats and Uber and Lyft rides and DoorDash and handle other things of the app. Yes ware and tare on the car of going back forth town. Yes cool to drive any where. But at times would be cool for a perk of free food at times to get something for free as a lunch and dinner. Yes nice to get paid every week and Grub Hub has a better pay out than UberEats and DoorDash does to.

    Don’t go to Haitian restaurants slow, rude and unprofessional. It is so unfortunate that we can not know beforehand who the clients are . Haitians don’t tip. For a $125 delivery not a single tip. Hell no to the no.
