I been using Notion the past year and I am loving it! Also, congrats on the side hustle 🎉 2023 was definitely a wake up call for everyone, especially in Tech, because of the Mass Layoffs! At least companies are transparent about not caring much about loyalty so we as employees have to take agency in our careers by developing our side hustles or going to a better opportunity when it presents itself.
The layoffs had me terrified as I was the newest hire! Glad to hear you’re using Notion already

Yeah Notion is a beast. I use Notion with my wife for our personal life stuff, and i may introduce it to my family for our family business, we'll see. I still use Obsidian for my own personal and business life, though. I haven't decided if Notion is worth leaving Obsidian for...I like free stuff 😅😅
lol Obsidian is for the true nerds! My brother and boss absolutely love it and I’ve been trying to convert them 😂 Notion is free for the most part
@JeremiahPeoples it's free until you hit them 100 blocks lol. My wife and I ran through that in about 3 months. But we've got pages and sections for our intimate life, our kids, our finances, etc.
I absolutely love Notion, and if they asked me to talk about it, I could for hours. I'm just a super control/customization freak 😅😅 which Notion has both. Actually Notion has the upper hand in customization (design wise), but Obsidian gives me so much more control.
Sorry for the rant haha.
