    Trabalhar com torno desse porte, sem equipamento de proteção e com essa placa de mandril gigante girando a centímetros do corpo. Tem que contar a sorte pra voltar inteiro pra casa. Qualquer desequilíbrio ele poderá ser literalmente ralado nessa placa giratória. É triste ver no mundo industrias ainda totalmente alienadas com segurança.

    • @Xris-FJ1200
      @Xris-FJ1200 Месяц назад +1

      getting bored ? What a funny replay.
      Perhaps you are young (< 40 years old ?) and, as young people you are always in a hurry ?
      Joking aside, I think that it is interresting to watch the video at the normal speed, because this job is complicated and we need to know how long it takes to place the piece and to do the job.
      Speeding the video is interresting when you do the same job many times, for example piercing 10 holes, you can speeding up the video for the nine last holes.

    Taking into account this video is accelerated, this guy took about 15 minutes to get the job centered - something I routinely do on my cousin's big lathe in less than 30 seconds.
    Guy left the chuck wrength in situ. That would get you sacked in most places. Its all too easy to forget, start the lathe, and someone gets killed.

      Das mit dem Schlüssel stimmt, hat in meiner Ausbildung auch ,,Mecker" gegeben.
      Die 15 min. finde ich aber angesichts der Werkstückgrösse ok. In 30 sechs. glaub ich nicht.

      I mean, I didn't have a thought that I would reset the part in a few seconds, but I think it's normal. I thank you very much

    • @keithammleter3824
      @keithammleter3824 Месяц назад +1

      @@Tornaustası-q7c 30 seconds is entirely normal. Size of job doesn't matter that much. if it took a couple of minutes it might be acceptable. But to take over a quarter of an hour - that's ridiculous.
      Turn the lathe over once to get two orthogonal offsets - that's a few seconds.
      Mentally calculate how many turns to wind in or wind out each of the four chuck screws = one second.
      Wind the chuck screws, loosen what needs loosening first, in accordance with calculations - a few seconds.
      Check and repeat - 2 or 3 cycles is usually enough.
      Time is money.
