My husband and I had wonderful dinners during June 2022 & Christmas 2022 at STEAKHOUSE 71. However our Anniversary Dinner earlier this month on July 16th was not the same. Smaller portion size and the steak was not that good. The steak wasn't terrible just not as juicy and overall experience felt rushed.
We've been to Steakhouse 71 a few times, for dinner and lunch. I have to say I was not that impressed with my dinner but loved lunch! And the wait staff are very good and attentive.
Went there for dinner on our last trip and it is highly overrated. Our food was just ok and I ordered the Bacon and eggs and my pork belly was beyond dry.
We like Steakhouse 71 To Go as well. The convention center level of the Contemporary has sofas/coffee tables and is a great quiet place to take a meal break too.
We went for dinner once and it was meh. We went for lunch once and it was at best meh with a waiter who was rushing us out the door. The onion rings were good, though, but I think after two mehs, I'm moving on.
Great place to go for lunch if you want a break from the park. We did that the last time we went and both had the smash burger. We both loved the burger and agree that it is probably one of the best on property.
We really enjoy Steakhouse 71 and have eaten there several times for both lunch and dinner. Is it a high end Steakhouse? No. Is it priced like one? Also no. Which is why we like it. While we do occasionally splurge on signature restaurants, dropping that much money on one meal isn't something we do on a regular basis. The steaks aren't the finest cuts, but they are good and I absolutely love the rub they use. The sides are consistently good (love the au gratin potatoes) and that brioche appetizer is delicious. Sometimes it's just nice to have a good meal at a decent price. It's also a great escape from MK food where the only table service restaurant we really like is Skipper Canteen.
SH 71 is not a steakhouse, it's a steak restaurant. There's a difference. The name mismanages people's expectations. I keep an open mind and I'm never disappointed there.
Its not the steakhouse most people expect and it hurts. I enjoyed my two lunches and one dinner there. They are always kind and thr food is decent. Its not priced as signature but for Disney it lands in a okay spot and I recommend it. I will say a lot of the menu is just decent but nothing I have had was horrible. A few excellent things and my hope is that number increases along with earning a true steakhouse reputation with some upgrades. Every drink was amazing.
I definitely want to go back and try the burger. We had steak at dinner and while it was okay, I would just rather spend the money at a signature restaurant and have a quality steak
I don't care about drinks, especially alcohol. Just want to know about the food. 😆 I'm interested in the Disney experience. 🏰
It's always good

Had Walt’s Prime Rib Hash for breakfast there last week and it was yummy. Service was top notch. I’d definitely go back

My husband and I found that eating in the lounge was 100 times better than the restaurant. It’s a go to place for us.
Tequila and POG juice!
Thanks for the head-up. My wife and I haven’t been yet, but we will be heading there on our next trip.
I've never seen a mix review

This is better then shulas
The grilled cheese and the French onion soup was great. I just think the name is misleading. It shouldn’t be called a steakhouse.
As a plant based we eater I keep going back for the onion rings and vegetable Wellington. And I like the photos in the restaurant.
I can think of nothing I'd like less than sharing a drink with the table... oh, no.
I've only been once, but the apps and steak were delicious. The sides were good but a little greasy.

I can't get the picture of that drink out of my head!
The onion rings look incredible!!

Dinner was terrible IMO and is a trap because in no way can this be called a steakhouse
