Just know that we care about you 3 minions 😂
😂 Tom b-roll sighting.
I thought that was him lol!
I'd really like to see you three return and review dinner at this restaurant.
Together, you cover a wide range of pallets and I really enjoy your group reviews.
Rock on!
"Three minions that no one knows or cares about" HAHAHAHAHA! That was epic. I love that Ryno says "I'm not gonna lie to you" and then he doesn't! Unfortunately, he seems to get stuck with mediocre meals lately. I really appreciate hearing Erica's perspective with an allergy and a preference for plant based items. Craig is always entertaining with his food choices and his rationale for each. I did like The Wave when it was there and I am unimpressed right here watching.
I need more of these dining reviews in my life. You three are the best!!!
$10 for five onion rings. It just gets more and more ridiculous! :)
Hey Craig was that Tom Corless for WDW news today waking behind your in the yellow shirt during the into?
Yes it was!
We had dinner in April of this year even after hearing some bad reviews prior. We just decided to give it a try because my bestie said not to listen to the reviews and to try it. I am glad I listened to her. I should mention that I am a super picky eater. I had the filet mignon and I have to tell you it was one of the best I have ever had. I cleared my plate, lol. It was cooked to perfection. Oh and the French Onion Soup... How could I forget about that. The soup was so good. We will be going back in September.
Is that Tom from WDW News Today behind Ryno?
Most certainly!
What are the odds that Tom Corless was eating there at the same time
I love the auto-captions. “Taylor Made” 😂
You really need to try Steakhouse 71 for dinner. The French onion soup is excellent, as is the New York strip.
Finally someone speaking the truth about steakhouse 71! I went for breakfast and it was a total disaster and our server clearly hated her job
The food looked good! I would like to try the Salisbury steak. That’s a childhood favorite of mine! 😄 Thanks for the video!
The Walt’s hash at breakfast/brunch is one of my favorite dishes on property! And LOVED the prime rib sandwich w/baby wedge for lunch!!
I’ve only been there for breakfast, but it was FANTASTIC! It was the perfect place for a brunch on the way to a late magic kingdom day, and sooo yummy
Was that Tom from WDWNT taking a to go order in the intro?
What? We had the burgers and the salmon less than a week ago and loved the expierence. The waffle fries were wonderful. Also the waitstaff was wonderful. Sorry you had a bad experience but my family will be back again for lunch the next time we visit the mouse.
We visited in May and ate at Steakhouse 71 twice. Great service both times. Early breakfast with all you care to enjoy mimosas, yes please! Hubs got steak and eggs and it was cooked perfectly. Lunch was burger time and it was also great.
Does anyone remember the huge arcade that was once in this spot. It held a movie theater and the original shooting gallery, we’re talking mid 70’s. A special time for Disney World you could also ride up front of the monorail with the driver. Great memories for sure!
For sure! And the snack bar in the back? I think they kept it around til the late 80’s. Always a fun place to meet other kids on vacation to hang out away from mom & dad. Lots of fun memories there
Erica is adorable:). Love the dynamic of Craig/Erica/Ryno
I’m glad you always include the price and put it into perspective for us. For me, personally, that is a pricey bill for lunch, but it is considered a higher end restaurant, and as you said, it’s on Disney property. Thanks for the honest review.
Thumbs up guys, never eaten here, wondering if we ever will! As a tourist not sure if the cost is worth it compared to other restaurants 😊 breads and biscuits are always the star for us 😆
❤❤❤😂 why you stealing onion rings Craig 😂❤
Yummy Yummy at the end! das cute
I like the mention of prices and the overall total at end, yes a theme park meal will always be over the odds, buts its nice to think either "that was an ok meal and could swallow that mark up" vs "that was an ok meal but no that mark up is way out of touch, will pass!". Do notice drink mentions are often missing (except if a specific like the milkshake at Sci-Fi).
Love the Steven Elizabeth Porter callback. “Bah-ROUCHE”
Release the Minions!!!😂
Your 3 minions review was great. We had a fabulous dinner at Steakhouse 71 in 2022, but our meal & service this year were not at all good, so will echo what Pete has heard. For the price point for dinner here, IMO the extra charge to visit California Grill is well worth it. We will be returning to CG on our next trip.
Had a wonderful dinner at Steakhouse 71 during our November trip last year. I had the stack burger with onion rings and was not disappointed. For being a Steakhouse, my DH was pretty disappointed in the selection of steaks.
I'm surprised I haven't gone here more as Steakhouse 71. I went to The Wave several times.
I really like this restaurant and have been several times - FYI the onion rings are not safe for those with a shellfish allergy as they use the same fryer. I was surprised by that and also glad we mentioned the allergy rather than just avoiding ordering shellfish dishes
I miss Fiasco and his Medium Filet on Garlic Potatoes at Steak House 71 with Pete making faces at him in the background. It was so disrespectful.
Steakhouse 71 for breakfast or dinner is the move. Can’t believe you got a bad batch of the burger !
My daughter and I now make this a must do place for a late lunch on a Magic Kingdom day. We get the Brioche rolls and the vegetable Wellington. I have never noticed it being too Mushroom forward. My daughter is a vegetarian but after trying other things I discovered this was my favorite on the menu too.
I would get the vegetable wellington as I love the beef one and I love mushrooms so probably won’t miss the beef. Great review everyone.
We had the best meal ever on property for dinner last month.
Thank you for saving us the time and $.
I have enjoyed breakfast there quite a bit- I have only had lunch here once. Got the stack burger and really enjoyed it but that was over a year ago
We enjoy Steakhouse 71 but I'll admit it's not a must do for us. We've had good luck with the burger, though I wouldn't say it's the best on property and the steaks at dinner are really good. The cuts of meat aren't as good as you'd find at a signature restaurant, but you're also not paying signature restaurant pricing. The rub they use is delicious and we enjoy getting the sauce sampler. For the price, we find it a really good value for a steak dinner on Disney property.
One tip on the brioche bread appetizer (which is amazing and definitely worth paying for) - you have to mix the tomato/garlic spread together. I agree with Rino that the tomato sauce on top is not great, but the garlic at the bottom is wonderful. If you mix the two together they are really, really good. I have no clue why they serve it the way they do as two separate layers. I imagine a lot of people just give up on that spread based on the tomato layer. Mix it up!
Good review. Local here. Lunch seems to be ok but dinner is where I think it went down hill. Cuts of meats went down.
I had breakfast there in January. The meal was fantastic and service was excellent
Only been there once last year, for lunch....only having one steak when your name is "Steakhouse 71" blew my mind. The meal was bad, but mid at best. I wouldn't go back.
I do miss this restaurant being the Wave. It was still pretty good for dinner. I ordered the vegetarian dish as my meal, since I do not eat meat. It was very good, although I really miss the sweet potato entree they used to have.I do miss the great breakfast buffet they used to have also. My husband and I will be making reservations for our up coming trip.
FYI Ive eaten there for Breakfast at least 5 times and have never been disappointed. The servers are on point and eager to help you .
The Boathouse has the best burgers on property.
We ate lunch there a few weeks ago and it was great.
I haven’t heard anyone mention about the lack of theming and zero atmosphere. With the white blank walls and bright lights it looks more like a cafeteria in a hospital than an expensive restaurant in a top tier theme park hotel.
We had dinner there and definitely a one and done for us. I did really like the french onion soup I had
Getting the burger take-out is the best lunch.
Salisbury Steak! Toss me into the wayyyy back machine! The SS at Cracker Barrel is called hamburger steak and is down home goodness. Get gravy on the side, as it is only glazed. We need our gravy!
My daughter and I had the most disappointing prime rib here last year. Hard to cut, even with a steak knife.
Hi! My husband & I ate at Steakhouse 71 for lunch twice during our May visit. Ironically, I ordered the Turkey Club Sandwich both times and I really liked it! LOL! However, I ordered the Club without tomatoes. The turkey was very good and the waiter mentioned that the turkey is cooked a certain way. We also tried the brioche bread but I skipped the tomato sauce that they provided and just used the butter. We also went to the restaurant around 2 pm which was perfect timing since it wasn’t crowded. I didn’t order dessert because I figured that we would get snacks in Magic Kingdom. I enjoyed the restaurant and would eat there again. We originally had late dinner reservations but canceled since I didn’t want to eat anything “heavy” at 8:30 pm. I was looking forward to trying the filet mignon, so maybe we’ll try to get dinner reservations the next time we visit Walt Disney World. Thanks for the review! Note: I actually looked at reviews for Steakhouse 71 on Yelp and also viewed pictures of the food. I’m a picky eater, so it helps to see pictures of the food in advance and read the reviews.
I had the club and it was delicious and a huge portion.
Love that shirt, Craig!
My favorite meal at Steakhouse 71 is their breakfast!! I think it’s great and a decent price.
We ate lunch there 3 times and 1st time was outstanding but it's gotten worse each time since. My roll was stale too and the pasta salad was horrible. Dinner was good but get the sauce flight.
3 minions 😮 you guys are great
3:35 - Erika looks pissed
Haha that’s just my resting face!
That Wellington looks delicious. Great review, have fun
We had dinner here back in Dec of 21 when everyone was raving about it and we were not impressed. I agree with Craig that the bacon & eggs app took a step down from what it was at The Wave. I think doing the "deconstructed" take on it wasn't the way to go. We weren't really impressed with the steaks either and actually preferred the entree selection previously.
Yeah. I live in Orlando and my experience with Disney dining is sort of a bell curve distribution. You’ve got a handful that are spectacular (topolino, flying fish, and Citricos). You’ve got a handful that are horrendous (maria & enzo’s, 50’s prime time etc) and most are in that sort of average/ok range.
Ryno have you had the burger at the Edison? It's pretty legit and that might be the best burger on property.
Erica, your nails are lookin always fierce 💅🏻 love your style, head to toe!
You can get the filet for lunch if you want. It's not on the lunch menu, but ask. It's the only dinner steak you can get, but if you don't want the steak frites, ask.
I particularly noticed the restaurant being mostly empty. Maybe it was at the end of lunch time? Otherwise, I'd say the lack of customers is a tell.
End of lunch since they close a short bit before dinner service.
Another great video ❤
I was completely disappointed in May when we came for lunch. I was so excited to try the bacon and eggs and stack burger and I was disgusted. It did nothing for me and I felt like it was a true waste of money. I wanted to cry because it was supposed to be wonderful. We won't be back.
"It comes with olives and those are garbage" - lmao
Is that Tokyo Tom Corless at the 0:45 mark? 😂
Staying contemporary in January and have heard such mixed reviews on this place
Even though there were numerous positive comments here, the overall tone was negative regarding their experience. Kind of confusing. I think when you factor in the cost of steakhouse 71 with other restaurants that are either similar in quality or maybe just a touch better, it’s an excellent value here.
Should have added the disclaimer they gave you food poisoning lol
Did they confirm if there was no dairy in the puff pastry ? Unless dairy is not a concern??
Love the Bacon and Eggs appetizer and the onion rings get them almost every time, the burger is good but along with everything I have eaten at a lot of restaurants across Disney and even ones that get rave reviews are the inconsistency in preparation and that is property wide, I have never been to a Disney restaurant many times in a row and had amazing consistency, honestly that’s what needs to be fixed all across Disney
I would try Sanaa or Boma for consistency. Whoever is doing food and beverage at Animal Lodge is on point!
@@RLucas3000yea I take it back Yak and Yeti I don’t think I have ever had a bad meal at all, love Ohana but that can be extremely inconsistent too
I ate here for breakfast and dinner on my last trip in September 2022. The breakfast was fine but dinner was very disappointing and very bad service.
We ate dinner there last year, it was great.
We went when it was the last weeks of the Wave, and it was good but not great.
What is going on with the frequency of videos? I feel like
for a lot of years I was getting tons of good content weekly.
Please go back for dinner. Never had a bad meal here. SH71 is prob the best Disney sit down on property.
Did Ryno like the bacon and eggs?
No
If you’re not impressed you should come now it has gone down tremendously the past two months I completely stopped going
Steakhouse 71 is over-priced for the quality of food. And the re-designed dining room looks and feels like a hospital cafeteria. Erica is right--there are better options on the monorail line. And definitely better dining options (especially if you are looking for a great steak) off property.
I normally don't post negative comments but there were two disappoints during our November 22 trip. First was the hurricane and being locked down for two days and second was Steakhouse 71. We went after watching our favorite streamers rave about the food and service both of which were very disappointing. Being seated 40 minute late and the waiter kept forgetting us was bad enough our food was worse than diner food and I like diner food. We are returning in August and Steakhouse 71 is not on our list.
It’s kind of strange that the Wave was not as popular as steakhouse 71, but then again, maybe not. The wave looked like a nice hideaway from the park (mk). This must be (steakhouse 71) the most brightly lit steakhouse I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t have comfort vibes.
If you go for dinner definitely get the prime rib, it is incredible. I did like the bacon and eggs, but my dinner companion was not impressed.
We really like the medallions of beef, but I thought the bacon and eggs were better at the Wave
The 3 amigos! ❤❤❤
Tom Corless? 0:44
If you had to guess, what do you think gave you the food poisoning? Was it the bacon and eggs?
I loved the Wave. I won’t eat @Steakhouse 71 on principle.
I really think it's worth coming back for the steaks at dinner, or even the hangar steak. I don't think lunch is all that special, but the steaks are great for the price.
Never going back here. Gave it 3 chances. Food was pretty bad all 3 visits. Tried almost everything. Too many amazing places in WDW to waste your time going here.
Hi Tati, love your content! Would love to see the tiktok videos on RUclips shorts, not a fan of tiktok
We had dinner there, my wife has a pork allergy. The server said meh he doesn’t make the food so it doesn’t effect him. He tried to make it as a joke, but joking with a food allergy is unacceptable
Didn’t you get food poisoning
With the California Grill there, I see no need to go to a windowless ‘steakhouse’ with mixed reviews.
Wait... did he complain the croutons were stale? Isn't that the point of croutons?
Steaks are decent for the price but I just prefer spending more at a signature restaurant for a better quality
1:14 Oh, gimme a break! That's the one thing I don't miss about Pete pulling away from the live shows. His ego. That boy sure has a high opinion of himself.
cotrico’s OR steakhouse 71 for dinner? 😱🤤
