  • Time to build a rear bumper for the Jeep Comanche! the roll cage is finally "finished" and I'm moving on to the next few projects. Here is the DIY rear bumper that I came up with that has the most clearance while still looking cool.
Please take my How To stuff with a grain of salt, I am not a pro at anything and I always think of something I can do better next time.
Please enjoy, hit all the usual buttons on here and hope I brought a smile to your face.

Really pleased this page popped up as a recommendation to watch. Impressive work on that rear bumper, it looks really unique. Will now start going through your back catalogue at the rest of the build. Nice.

Thank you spread the word 😜 the more people enjoy this stuff the closer I get to building more crazy off-road contraptions lol. I was looking for smart cars or a Honda crv to put my old jeep axles under lol my shop will slowly turn into an evil laboratory.

All hail the mighty algorithm for bringing me here! Just getting started on this video, planning on watching the rest - you had my direct and focused interest when you started shrinking the corner with needle nose! Only input so far - turn the music down a bit, bring the voice up a bit. Good stuff so far, making me really wish I had a shop to work in!!

Thank you. I need a better speaker for my office cause watching this later on the phone/TV I noticed that right away. Music Def needs cranked down like 10% at least.

@@BlackAndBlueGarage Well, like a wise man once told me - it's 100% not perfect - but I like it!

What are you doing for tail lights?

Stock tail lights, hoping the bumper protects them a little. Might make them quick release just in case I hit a trail where "you already know" at least then I can give them to someone whos gonna have a little less fun lol.

A bit unconventional I admit but that's how I roll lol. Doing thing different on purpose might come back to bite me one day but for now it makes me happy. Hoping to get this truck out to some events and trails by next year. Mostly the southwest area but might make a trip to Tenn. To see the BLEEPIN JEEP Comanche. It's kind of a bucket list item.
