I own the toy. (not the painted one, the original before it got painted) it’s wing is starting to come off though.

Yeah I've seen that happen in some vinyl figures. The wing has a hollow joint that connects it to the body. With the wing detached, you can apply some hot glue on the hollow joint, apply ice on the joint to cool it quickly and then reconnect it to the rest of the body. 😉
