i wish i had known back when i bought all 4 rotors and sets of pads for the single piston sxt that this kit actually does fit on the single piston stock setup, i could've bought these calipers and upgraded from my single pistons, but I listened to the powerstop fitment guide that said I had to get the 12.6" rotors, vented in the front solid in the back. Didn't buy calipers because my stock ones still had plenty of juice left, I would've had I known about this upgrade option. I bought the K1519 set. Also i noticed you specifically said to reuse the OEM caliper bracket bolts, the 18mm ones. Service manual states these anytime these are removed they must be replaced, any idea why? I've removed and reused the same bolts many times since I bought the car 3 years ago, no issues as of yet
Not completely true. Slots actually expel heat gases that accumulate each time you apply your breaks especially under having breaking. Slots also wipe the pass surface clean to ensure each initial time the pad touches the rotor surface it is not contaminated with excess brake dust, foreign material
I've heard people say that since it's zinc plated, they don't douse them in anti rust oil. That said, it won't hurt to spray them down and wipe them off before use. You probably won't see any residue on the rag, but it's better safe than sorry.

Great vid thanks for simplifying the process but can you guys show how to bleed your break line they described it in the end but didn’t show it
The slots are meant to mitigate the lines that show up on the pads because of the holes. They don’t dissipate shit.
