One little thing I loved in this choreo is that when they're singing "who's a liar" with their back to the camera some of them have their fingers crossed behind their back (Soobin and Taehyun), while the others have their pinky fingers out like they're making a promise. I'd never noticed it, until HueningKai mentioned it in a behind the scenes video for a shoot, and said something about Soobin crossing his fingers behind his back so you know he's the liar. I just thought it was such a tiny detail that you might not even notice and it's very cool. I also really liked the quick out of character smiles in the video (you paused on one), they gave me the vibe that the person is realising the people they depend on aren't seeing them, they're stuggling behind their grin and asking their friends to save them, but their friends don't even see that something is wrong. All the shots of the happy scenes where they're going a little crazy and having fun, and then one member is separate and out of sync gave me the same vibe, like they dropped the fake smile and their friends didn't even notice.

Tina, if you watch when they sing "Crumbled sandcastle who's a liar" Soobin (the one in the middle and with purple hair) and Taehyun (the one with red hair) are doing the "liar" sign whilst the other one's are doing the pinky promise meaning they are not the liars and are innocent. This is what i love about TxT, you always have to look at small details because even their minor moves can make a whole difference!

The thing is as you continue your TXT journey you would see how versatile of an artist they are. TXT has a lot to offer. I like how you mentioned their art bc TXT’s artwork is indescribable. I really think TXT is something I've never seen before. A total original. I think of them as pop-theatre because their art is so narrative-driven. Like they literally don't have a bad song...but the STORIES...haunting. I've heard them called the "kings of melancholic pop" and I think that really suits them. They have like a Roald Dahl/Tim Burton kind of thing to them where there's whimsy but there's always a touch of something sinister. It's shaping up to be maybe the darkest lore of any kpop group I've seen (and I'm an ARMY and we all know that BU is pretty intense). Anyway...I just can't speak highly enough of them. I'm always entertained--even just by their trailers. Their dances are innovative and so so sharp. They make me think and feel and groove. I just have a ton of respect for what they're bringing to the industry right now.
I know you watched the dance practice, but you should see the Studio Choom of this song sometime, it's amazing & really brings out the character of the dance.
the stop motion at the beginning is actually a scene from their previous title track mv “run away!” txt have built up such an intricate storyline over the past 2 years, which you can even see through their bside mvs(they have a 20 minute long mv!) and small details such as the choreography, so more often than not there’s a lot going on because it’s all part of the story they’re telling. looking forward to seeing more txt reactions!

one thing i love about txt is that they connect the dance with their storyline, in the bridge you can see soobin using his hand to move his head + controlling the head of the others, also in this part 12:35 everyone is looking at beomgyu but when beomgyu turns to look at them they all look to the floor. I would recommend Eternally, it doesn’t have a choreography (it's the only song who hasn't be performed by them )

You should listen to “Fairy of Shampoo,” it’s one of my favs!! It’s sort of like a cover of a song with the same title that came out in the 90’s by “Light & Salt” except they changed it a bit, changed the sound and added a rap verse that Yeonjun(the oldest in txt) wrote himself!! They have a video with choreography from their comeback show!(AND a little something extra you can check out if you wanna get to know them a bit better , they did a relay dance on the channel M2 with that song:))

TXT does an amazing job with Studio Choom I can’t help but rewatch the choreography on there. The “Eternally”music video shows more of the TXT universe and connects with all the subtle messages and symbolism in “Can’t You See Me”. “Externally” is a whole short movie honestly needs a cinematography award.

the song and choreo is my favorite from txt all their stuff is good but cysm is superior. Also if u notice in the “who’s a liar?” part u can see some of their fingers are crossed and some are pinky fingers behind their backs, the details in the choreo is immaculate. also at the start of the choreo they were all together and leaning against each other but at the they’re all separate and it’s like they’re taking a mask off to show who they really are!

I'm thankful that TXT's content speaks to you enough to talk about it. * It's a really complicated story since it's tied to what the boys did to each other and what their friendship means, even MOAs don't really know yet, but this is exactly what Cysm is about. Basically the anger that builded up because the problems of their friendship weren't addressed. "You turn your back on the fire, can't you see me?" they feel betrayed. And start questioning "who's the liar", who's responsible for the degradation of their friendship. Everything starts crumbling and they feel it, yet no one addresses it. I'm too excited, I should calm down and let some things to the interpretation of everyone. But I had to watch hour long theories to really get the symbolism of that song. When you listening to it you definitely feel it, but you're right we watched this MV *a lot of times* because there's so much to unpack in it and in the lyrics. The choreo also does a lot to translate the feels of the lyrics and the music. I'm just very proud of TXT.
one thing i’ve noticed not just as a MOA but as a Kpop fan in general, but TXT has some of the best formations and formation changes especially amongst smaller groups... not only how they make the formations but when they decide to change it and also who switches around

Even though it's honestly quite the popular and successful comeback, in terms of its artistry, concepts, choreography, etc, it feels so underappreciated (outside of the people who are more serious in stanning TXT) to me, especially since I truly became a MOA because of this comeback and stayed obsessed with it even until now.

The intro part with the book is a ref to their MV for Run Away idk if you've seen that one, but a few of their vids are storyline based but their choreos are always amazing. Some of their choreos for songs do not have MVs like "Can't We Just Leave The Monster Alive" and "Drama" that are two of their hardest choreos.

This is so far my favorite MV from them because of the homages it paid to horror. In horror we always get to see things go f-ed and even more f-ed. This MV uses the same visual tropes to illustrate how friends grow increasingly apart. Keep in mind that in horror, too, the characters always do what they think is best, but because of fear/panic/pressure they tend to make mistakes and turn things worse. I get the message of this group of friends thinking "We care about each other so there's nothing that can go wrong", but life and growing to adulthood causes unexpected things to happen, and they feel confused and betrayed and couldn't help to wonder if it was their friends' fault. That kind of thinking lead to their friendship breaking even more. I really love listening to your opinions! And I agree that TXT is more like art than strictly music. It reminded me of when both Bang Si-hyuk and TXT's seniors BTS said K-pop is more about a whole package of concept and delivery. Also, our fandom MOA is pronounced 'mo-ah', like a word, not initials haha

If you watch their next release after this (not including puma as a bside) which is Drama japanese version music video you'll see that it follows the storyline of friends not understanding, feeling like an outcast or lonely --- which is beomgyu and follow thru to blue hour MV with him looking despondant in the intro and outro as well as the boys coming up to him at the end who is alone. you'll notice it thru out blue hour MV that beomgyu's generally alone too (like getting the water thrown on him) - pretty dark themes considering how bright the MV is....

You should listen to “Fairy of Shampoo,” it’s one of my favs!! It’s sort of like a cover of a song with the same title that came out in the 90’s by “Light & Salt” except they changed it a bit, changed the sound and added a rap verse that Yeonjun(the oldest in txt) wrote himself!! They have a video with choreography from their comeback show!(AND a little something extra you can check out if you wanna get to know them a bit better , they did a relay dance on the channel M2 with that song:))

TXT does an amazing job with Studio Choom I can’t help but rewatch the choreography on there. The “Eternally”music video shows more of the TXT universe and connects with all the subtle messages and symbolism in “Can’t You See Me”. “Externally” is a whole short movie honestly needs a cinematography award.
im scared to think about how they will top this in their next comebacks, this song is so addicting and meaningful to me(hits too close to home) and the mv is such a different take on a dark concept.

the song and choreo is my favorite from txt all their stuff is good but cysm is superior. Also if u notice in the “who’s a liar?” part u can see some of their fingers are crossed and some are pinky fingers behind their backs, the details in the choreo is immaculate. also at the start of the choreo they were all together and leaning against each other but at the they’re all separate and it’s like they’re taking a mask off to show who they really are!

* It's a really complicated story since it's tied to what the boys did to each other and what their friendship means, even MOAs don't really know yet, but this is exactly what Cysm is about. Basically the anger that builded up because the problems of their friendship weren't addressed. "You turn your back on the fire, can't you see me?" they feel betrayed. And start questioning "who's the liar", who's responsible for the degradation of their friendship. Everything starts crumbling and they feel it, yet no one addresses it.
I'm too excited, I should calm down and let some things to the interpretation of everyone. But I had to watch hour long theories to really get the symbolism of that song. When you listening to it you definitely feel it, but you're right we watched this MV *a lot of times* because there's so much to unpack in it and in the lyrics. The choreo also does a lot to translate the feels of the lyrics and the music. I'm just very proud of TXT.

one thing i’ve noticed not just as a MOA but as a Kpop fan in general, but TXT has some of the best formations and formation changes especially amongst smaller groups... not only how they make the formations but when they decide to change it and also who switches around

Ugh, I'm so glad that you praised and appreciated this song's MV, its choreography, and TXT's execution of it. I swear, this comeback is so underrated. Even though it's honestly quite the popular and successful comeback, in terms of its artistry, concepts, choreography, etc, it feels so underappreciated (outside of the people who are more serious in stanning TXT) to me, especially since I truly became a MOA because of this comeback and stayed obsessed with it even until now.

The intro part with the book is a ref to their MV for Run Away idk if you've seen that one, but a few of their vids are storyline based but their choreos are always amazing. Some of their choreos for songs do not have MVs like "Can't We Just Leave The Monster Alive" and "Drama" that are two of their hardest choreos.

This is so far my favorite MV from them because of the homages it paid to horror. In horror we always get to see things go f-ed and even more f-ed. This MV uses the same visual tropes to illustrate how friends grow increasingly apart. Keep in mind that in horror, too, the characters always do what they think is best, but because of fear/panic/pressure they tend to make mistakes and turn things worse. I get the message of this group of friends thinking "We care about each other so there's nothing that can go wrong", but life and growing to adulthood causes unexpected things to happen, and they feel confused and betrayed and couldn't help to wonder if it was their friends' fault. That kind of thinking lead to their friendship breaking even more.
I really love listening to your opinions! And I agree that TXT is more like art than strictly music. It reminded me of when both Bang Si-hyuk and TXT's seniors BTS said K-pop is more about a whole package of concept and delivery. If you watch their next release after this (not including puma as a bside) which is Drama japanese version music video you'll see that it follows the storyline of friends not understanding, feeling like an outcast or lonely --- which is beomgyu and follow thru to blue hour MV with him looking despondant in the intro and outro as well as the boys coming up to him at the end who is alone. you'll notice it thru out blue hour MV that beomgyu's generally alone too (like getting the water thrown on him) - pretty dark themes considering how bright the MV is....

ya agree. plus i think they care more when it only comes to online more so than in real life usage because it counts for brand reputation ranking which helps with more exposure & opportunities ~they rank high but they can be higher on it if moas make more of a habit using the full name when using social media/ or online writing & using the hashtags (& if the media outlets or articles writing have the full name)~because the brand reputation acknowledges the full name more when ranking than the abbreviation which has a tendency to slip through unnoticed since it is unofficial.
