Yayy, and yeah it’s not a love song😂, a lot of times they’re talking their friendship as well. So in the previous song run away was about how they felt they were the only ones who understood each other and wanting to just run away together as friends from reality. But here it talks about how they seem to not understand each other as well as they thought anymore and each of them are feeling isolated and like they can’t trust each other anymore. Kind of like how you might feel in teen or preteen years. Where they say “friends don’t understand me anymore”

And also the boys also hated the tomato thing when filming. Hueningkai was meant to do it but felt very iffy about it. But beomgyu who even hates tomatoes decided to do it since Hueningkai was not feeling good about it.😂

This is a cult classic comeback, TXT actually were in the process of rebuilding the fandom after bandwagon fans left, so at this point in TXT's career they were building the fandom to the strength it is today🦾💕

@@gracielaalegre3457 I think this was the time that nearly most of 'moas' left the fandom and txt because the comeback got delayed twice. (Soobin got pink eye first and then later the Maknaes{Taehyun and Kai} caught it. I think Yeonjun had back problems too.) TXT went from having lots of fans to less than what they had when they debuted. It was a hard time as moa felt a great power loss. but I think it was the greatest thing to happen as TXT got rid of fans who were never interested in them as a group/singer but as BTS's brothers. Thankfully true moas stayed with TXT during that hard time and were able to build on the fandom more. Hence why it was like a Fandom Cleanse :)
@@gracielaalegre3457it was a hard time for TXT because members experienced health problems and their comeback had to be delayed a couple of times. so the boys felt they are losing Moas.
@@gracielaalegre3457 also a lot of bandwagon fans left the fandom, which hurt us in the short term, but helped us in the long run, because the fandom rebuilt stronger & more loyal than before

At that time more than love, txt's mv always focused on friends and how they grew up together. How friendships aren't always fruit and cakes. If you guys watched the mvs from the debut mv and followed their comeback you guys would get the lyrics so well and how they start making sense as them growing up together.
You should react to Run Away, in the beginning of the MV in the book it was actually from Run Away MV, and I agree I think you need to listen to more of TXT’s songs before watching Lalapolloza 2023 so that you know the songs that are going to be playing or a least most of them. Btw TMI Beomgyu hates tomatoes. Also you should react to “roller coaster” dance practice by TXT, the dance is so cool.
yeah. so. let’s talk about the mv plot.
it’s like, a whodunnit in a way. even with the choreo. it’s purposefully unsettling with the way it’s filmed. note in the “crumbling sandcastle, whose a liar” lyric, the choreo has them showing hands behind their backs. some have pointed pinkies (pinky promise) and some have crossed fingers (liars, betrayal). notice how at the dinner table scene, everyone (especially Taehyun) looks suspicious, and how Beomgyu winds up “suffocating” Taehyun. It ties into the TXT universe, for sure. There’s a LOT of layers to the MV. Also "Can't You See Me" music video by TXT (Tomorrow X Together) explores the theme of friendship and the intense emotions that come with it. The video depicts the breakdown of a seemingly perfect friendship, showing the darker side of relationships and the feeling of being misunderstood or ignored by those closest to you. The storyline and symbolism in the video reflect the emotional lyrics of the song, highlighting the group's storytelling and artistic expression. Btw you should definitely listen to more TXT.

Since you asked, I'll try my best to explain my take on it along with things that I learned from others.
They actually have kind of a storyline as they do for all songs and many subtleties in the MV which may have some correlation with them going through hard times and fandom building as some others pointed out before.
Now, in terms of the continuation of their storyline.
It start's with
1) DREAM CHAPTER: STAR,
2) DREAM CHAPTER: MAGIC,
3) DREAM CHAPTER: ETERNITY ( the album from which this MV is)
(I can't explain without spoiling one previous MV but I'll keep it in minimum)
The book in the intro is from Run Away
Before in Run Away (DC-Magic) Soobin feels isolated making him unable to voice out his dreams.
THE DREAM CHAPTER: ETERNITY is a continuation
In the storyline:
The problem here is that someone lied breaking their promise back on the magic island -" *to* *not* *lie* ". Soobin broke that promise which is why they weren't able to see or hear each other. At first everyone is close but after a while the dark magic started to take effect.
How do we know who lied?
See Soobin sings who’s a liar? , he and Taehyun cross fingers and others do pinky so they're keeping secrets.
There are lyrics referring to their promise .
Soobin followed by Huening Kai and Beomgyu start to feel left out while Taehyun is suspicious of them but doesn't say as he is often depicted as the observer/ investigator.
We see Beomgyu smothering Taehyun with a blanket. (I'm not sure if it's related to Eternity mv in the same album where he faces his dark side doppelganger but I want to believe that his dark side feels threatened from Taehyun)
Also in their storyline, he and BG have opposing view and ways.
YEONJUN's hand covered in tomatoes to look like blood. He is trying to save them but instead puts them into danger (this is again reaffirmed in Eternally (that 19 min long MV is more like a movie so many things are happening)
The fire probably has something to do with Yeonjun (the oven and the house on fire), reconnecting to with "Run Away mv" where he pleads “save me”
Soobin's part “bad bad, hoping this is just a painful dream” as in he had these premonitions and kept it a secret from them.
In the last part of choreo, they look like removing masks from their faces. Signifying they all were wearing one all this time. Everyone has a hidden side now.
The story continues in the other songs of the album and next one.
Now the general idea: It's about their friendship going downhill. The choreo, lyrics, and music, everything is symbolic of the loneliness, resentment, confusion caused by friends not being there for you when you need them the most, unable to open up and being misunderstood even though you've shared many magical moment together. But we're still pleading in our heart for them be understanding.
Them throwing and crushing red food is actually make it intentionally creepy . It may also stand for how we hurt each other sometimes all while being playful.

You need to watch more M/Vs. A good chunk of their videos intentionally have a creepy undertone due to the storyline. I'd suggest watching Nap Of A Star, Magic Island, Eternally, and Frost M/V in order because these are direct storyline M/Vs. Chances are you might not fully understand whats happening and you will get creeped out but they are good music videos

Can't You See Me is a continuation of the young adulthood story. In Runaway, previous video and shown in the intro, the story revolves around friendship and being there for each other during hard times. In CYSM, this friendship is tested. TXT said they sing about what young people go through. I hope this helps😊

Please don't get into lollapalooza YET, and not because of any bad reason! You guys should listen to more txt songs before you do so. A lot of b-sides are in their performance. It wouldn't give time to truly feel the song versus listening to it with us or on your own time.. and Idk about 4:10.. at the time I watched it I was so confused on why he was tryna kill him but you guys had a totally different outlook I laughed! This MV was more so supposed to be creepy if you figured out the undertones. Red symbolizing blood, and the lyrics... yeah.

Txt storyline is lot more than you ever imagine. Like literally i have to subscribe to a Channel which tells the storyline going on music video based on song lyrics, mv, and we moas make theories. You just seeing it like a normal music video but its not , as a 4 years moa i also thought like it was a normal music video but after discover the storyline my perspective totally changed, and im completely shocked and surprised, there's also given hidden messages. As a teen i can completely relate. They also express lyrics through dance like if you observe txt choreo is soo different from any other boy group.they express lyrics through choreo.Soo thats the thing that makes txt different and unique than other groups.thats why i only stan txt. My txt moa forever❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
