한국 17년식 이상 익스플로러5세대 중고로 탈만할까요 미국차가 튼튼하다고하는데 은근히 잔고장 많고 안좋다고 하는 사람들이 많아서요

제가 볼땐 잔고장은 별로 없는거 같은데요 . 수입차라 고장나면 부품값이 국산차에 비해 비싸다는것이 문제 알거 같네요.
좋은차을 만나는거 자체가 복불복 인거 같습니다.

PSCM ( power Steering control module) module internal problem .

My epas went out, had codes for a bad battery and steering angle sensor

@@BrightKim replaced battery and found out I didn’t even have a steering angle sensor( I don’t know how I had epas before if I didn’t have sas) but I bought one and installed it. Cleared those codes but now I got u3000-96

Would it end up being having to reprogram the pscm if not having to replace it?thank you in advance for your reply

I'm a Ford Technician.
I have also 11 explorer, it has same issue like you. U3000 code and I replaced battery and works good nearly a year and no power Steering, so I replaced electric power Steering gear rack assembly. My one doesn't available pscm reprogram . We see that module failure and angle sensor cars , it needs a New Steering Rack .
Aftermarket is much cheaper, Ford one so expensive ( I got it employee price and No labor because I fixed it)
