Been two weeks leaving this playing every other day. Just heard my budgie mimicking me saying hello. Wasn't perfect but a solid couple of attempts. 😮🐦
😭i legit just did the hello part mine over and over with my husband saying hello with the birds chirping and mines trying to say it!!
I read, as I was trying to learn the art of getting budgies to talk is this :
When they repeat, it's much faster than humans speaking (or as a large parrot might).
It said to speak words to them slower than normal & it will likely come out sounding more human than quick, chirpy budgie!

Parrots are probably most likely to pick up on words faster, right? If my budgies never speak its ok, but I get the feeling that it’ll probably take longer, if at all.

I work 12 hour shifts during the day I play this for them while I'm at work and when it's bedtime. My budgies are pretty young but they're trying to talk! My step son will love it when they finally do

So a year later, did it work? I’ve been using this because I think one is most likely to say something more than the other one. He’s just smarter in a lot of ways. He makes this odd sound I’ve never heard before which to me sounds like maybe he’s trying.

@@samihaimran8851 yeah. How quickly did it start speaking? Again I could cared less if they do or not. I won’t be upset or disappointed because I love them so much. Would be kinda cool. I was laughing one day when I got in from work as it was saying good morning in a Latina sounding accent. I just said to my mom, how awesome would that be if they said whatever they did with a Spanish accent lol

I'm going to play this for the next month- interactively playing with bird- and see if it makes a difference. I've had a yellow budgie for about half a year- and he's developed a bad attitude. He's outside bird and is terrified of the dark. Sleeps by the night light.
I've been training him with commands like "Up" "Come here" "Name" "Fly" "Bathtime" "Din-Din - Dinner time!" and "Goodnight" and he's not having it. Not only is he not vocal he's unresponsive to everything but "up" so I'm looking for extra help online.
I'll let you guys know if it works.

My bird keep saying pretty girl every time she said hello. The rest of the time he was chirping like crazy. He did say hello a few times though after about 10 hellos.

Ok. So i adopted a yellow parakeet from the shelter just a few days ago. Haven't even heard a peep from her. I started playing this and now she's chirping. Hopefully she'll talk soon. I'll keep you posted.

@@madarauchiha8120 using a audio recording doesn't seem to work. I've found simply talking to her works best. She does enjoy the background noise though when I have to go to work.
Me and my mom found parrot in our backyard my dad put some gloves on so the parrot won’t bit us it was screaming like hell so we stopped and we do a color on his feet but when we look at it it keeps one backing away and hiding it and btw his feathers were gone not all of it but only in his chest and his neck my mom said that maybe it is our naybires bird and something happened like an abuse or they didn’t take care of him like putting him just for a display so we toke him to the doctors and they tried to talk to him but he would just stay in the same spot and the doctor gave the parrot a medicine and it is fine now but then we released that the parrot kept on saying names like jennet and capue we were so coufused but maybe it is the naibours names or something and when I get back from school the parrot keeps on talking and does fart noise from his mouth and when I am singing he is dancing 😂😂😂😂 I guess we are going to keep him maybe
Galaxygamer i think the bird flew away from someones home! The reason why he is so afraid is because he had parents before who they trusted but now the are somewhere else and he doesn’t trust you yet! You really have to win birds trust! The reason why his feathers are gone is because of the reason the bird had a lot of stress then they get there feathers out! 💞💞 but have fun with your new bird and be very gentle to win there trust!

I leave the radio on for my birds all day long. So I get a bird that will do DJ chatter, commercials, news, weather, and of course he tries to sing, but is always off key. The worst thing? That blasted emergency broadcast system BLATTTTTT!
