(I know it's been a year, but thought I'd chip in anyways:) Only male cockatiels can really talk. Even then, they're not that great at it. It can take anywhere from a few days to a month to teach them, make sure to give them treats if they make progress! :)
Check out 'Wings of Eden' - Neil Louwrens and Marc Cooper: for whistling songs, bird songs. Calms all birds and (yes you heard it right) -even colicky babies). I love you ;-)
I have 2 cockatiels, do hey need to master one recording at a time or can i play a couple different ones a day? dnt want to confuse or overwhelm them and defeat the entire purpose in teaching. Thank you for these teaching tools. 🙂
Hi Bird School - I noticed several of these videos the voice sounds very echo-ey/electronic as opposed to the clear/sharp "Hello" video. Is there a reason for this, or just the way the video was made? Will there be any clearer recordings in the future?
