The video shows two alternate universe...One where they are alone individually and everything goes to hell,and the other where they are together and they are stronger and happier.I think it means that without each other they are weak, together they are stronger.If they didn't become BTS,then their life wouldn't be what it is today.

This song is so beautiful and sad at the same time. The lyrics are amazingly poetic and romantic in a way but also very sad. The MV is beautiful and I love the different mental states the boys portray and just how well they do it. So the “girl” doesn’t matter when it comes to the storyline, but the original song is more of a love song, though can be seen as a metaphor for any type of love.

My dad just passed away on Friday and it means a lot to hear the words he couldn’t say (he had ALS). If you could just mention the ALS association (same thing as promoted by the ice-bucket challenge), they helped my family and him so much it would mean so much… I know it’s a lot to ask but both them and you have helped me. When I first saw this, I was taken aback by all the references to suicide. But then, I learned how huge the suicide issue was for Korea, primarily teenagers, where they have one of the highest suicide rates in the world. And this put a whole different spin on this to me,

But, also, as a wife to a brilliant and dyslexic nuclear engineer, and mother to two brilliant adult very dyslexic sons I just want to say that speed at reading is not an indication of intellect. It’s just an indication of a mind that processes information differently than the linear way the English language requires, which is probably why you make music for a living. Music is more indicative of a math language oriented mind, as math uses the same types of pattern recognition as music. Just saying….

this was THE song for them.. bts and their music production team worked on it tirelessly. it really paid off. it was their first hit in korea.
