The reason behind the lollipop turning to a cigarette is that kpop music videos don't allow smoking to be displayed. Hence they used a lollipop as a symbol of the cigarette

I don't think it was his father, the whole point of the song is "i need u girl" so that was his ex best friend... they fought over the love of the girl, one part of the lyrics was "give me one last gift", therefore the girl left him for the other guy

花樣年華 (basically meaning 'the beautiful youth years'? I think?) is a Chinese phrase that existed before that movie came out anyway. But maybe that movie was the inspiration for the album title.

so there are 7 stories that occur in this video, and theyre all connected to each other as theyre all friends.
1. jungkook is the one thats getting beat up, and he finally gets run over by the car
2. jhope took the pills, overdosed and collapsed next to the highway on the bridge
3. rm is the one in the gas station. he works there helping people refuel. we see he gets treated pretty poorly there, and in the end he drops his "lollipop" onto the ground where theres gasoline. the lollipop turns into a cigarette though, implying that he blew himself up. a theory is that he has schizophrenia, and thats why he mistook the cigarette for a lollipop.
4. suga is the one alone in the hotel room and the one who sets himself ans the room on fire. theres a theory out there stating that this entire video is based on kurt cobain's (Nirvana) life, and that maybe suga and jungkook are a couple in this video. we see jungkook's shirt hanging in suga's hotel room, and suga is obviously missing someone. this would also explain why jungkook got beat up (for being gay?)
5. jimin is the one who drowns himself in the bathtub. not much explanation there, but his story is linked to J-hope's, so some people think that maybe he read j-hope's suicide letter (via pills) and drowns himself as a result.
6. v is the one who stabs the man. its implied in the other videos that the woman is his sister and the man he stabs is his father.
7. jin is probably the most confusing one. he's the one sitting alone in the room, and he's holding flowers and burning them. now he's apparently holding six petals and we later see the image of a white flower with six petals blooming on his chest. some people theorized that the six petals represent the six members. based on this video, it seems that everyone else died and jin is the one remaining (he opens the window, signifying a new day). however in subsequent videos, it seems that perhaps he's the one who is dead, and everyone else is alive.

Sienna Qin He isn't talented, he learned how to sing and dance. He was supposed to major in acting
He learned how to sing and dance in only 1 year.
You know how much time took to the other members be in the position that they are? Years. All the other members were dancers, singers o rappers years before that.
And In 1 year, only 1 year, he were in the same position that his friends. That's being talented, he worked so hard to be in BTS and he deserves more recognition for that.

Ahhh I really like this channel. I don't usually watch reaction videos because they can be annoying and cringey as hell but watching a group of people analysing the music with all these terms I have never even heard of - I actually learn something, it's amazing LOL Keep it up you guys!
Also, it'll be nice if you could react to some Girls' Generation songs. I mean, if you're gonna react to a variety of K-Pop videos, I feel including the Nation's Girl Group would only be right, especially since they've been around for a decade(!!) now. Plus some of their solos too like Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun! Since there are so many reactions to boy groups anyway, a little bit of girl groups wouldn't hurt :D
