  • I've got a project that needs an invisible power charging function. And one of the options is using a wireless Qi induction charger. So today I've got a few Qi parts on the bench that I'm trying to bodge together into a working assembly!
If you'd like a more detailed look at the circuit board I've got a close-up picture on PCBurn.com linked below. And I'll revisit these if I have a chance to look into what the circuitboard actually does; that was more ICs than I expected.
As usual if you've got any odd questions that I didn't cover or comments please leave them down below. I can always pull the parts off the shelf again if I've got a second and take a look at some missed-out aspect of them.

Pronunciation is the same as what we Americans would say "key" as in the thing that unlocks your door.

Yep! But in the UK it's Chee. like in CHeese. Apparently. Which I find bizarre.

Seems like the sort of thing you could use for all kinds of sci-fi and fantasy effects.

Absolutely. In fact I was working with them for powering a location dependent prop.

Can I add this reciever to the inside of a phone to turn it into wireless charging. Trying to find where to solder this too internally.

You may be able to. Explaining engineering implementations is a bit beyond a part video. Best of luck!

@@jetterabison-y8x Internally? Probably not if you're asking the question as that'd take some technical expertise. It's not something I'd personally do on a (modern) phone not already engineered for it in some way as I think it'd be hard to do it well for long term use.
You may want an external USB connected part if it makes sense. Or some form of pre-made after-market case that has wireless you can connect somehow if it's available.
