He's earned that, and I wholeheartedly support that. I see it as the same thing as Freddy Highmore making more room and more acceptance for autistic people.
Outside of Game thrones(which doesn't count since Dwarfism is central to the character) and his part and elf, I can't think of another movie he's been in where they ever address his height. Which is good! Dude is a fantastic actor!
THESE are the kinds of movies I love. Something that shakes up the normal movie tropes in a clever and unexpected way. 99% of all rom-coms are formulaic and pedantic. THIS one looks to be just quirky and different enough to be worth a look. And that cast!! Anne Hathaway, Peter Dinklage, and Marisa Tomei? The cast alone is worth a view.
I feel like she’s pushing it 😂 I know she wanted to get out from her princess diary era and wanted to be known as an a-list actor, but i don’t know. I have a feeling she could play odd characters like johnny depp did. She doesn’t really shine in drama nor action.

She’s done the big titles and won her awards, now she’s able to chose roles she actually wants to play bc she likes the character or whatever her reason. She has the power to be picky and probably has tons of scripts she can pick from. I like that she’s taking that risk of playing characters we wouldn’t have expected given her history. I think I saw a trailer for a comedy she’s in soon and she looked so funny in it already, but not quirky nerdy girl humor like she played for so long, it was adult raunchy humor. I think so many of us think of that prim and proper princess persona as a part of who she truly is in her real life, so it’s not expected to hear her say something raunchy but she is. I like ones that tell a good story. I think that's the problem with a lot of Hollywood today. Risk aversion is so rampant that it's hard to get somethign that may work OKAY greenlit. Everyone wants the next Marvels or Star Wars or Gone with the Wind. I'd pay to see this in a theater over ANOTHER There's Something about Mary or Jersey Boy.
Finally a trailer for a movie that I am looking forward to seeing. It helps that I have forever had a celebrity crush on Marisa Tomei ....and forever will.
I simply love Peter Dinklage. My favorite Peter Dinklage movie is THE STATION AGENT. You must see it. It's a total charmer. Can't wait to see this one.
