Thanks for watching! We have listed the links for all the products in the description under the video, hope you find them useful. There is a 110g version of this refillable canister, we will review it once it is back in stock, so stay tuned!
People need to remember that store-bought canisters are filled with isopropane/isobutane using highly pressurised fillers. This allows them to achieve a much higher Kpa/PSI in the canister compared to what you can achieve when filling a small refillable canister with a hairspray-style 230g canister. A factory could likely push 60g into that small 35g Campingmoon canister.
Good to know. It can fill up to 40g before the gas gushes out, but following the instructions, 35g is recommended in case the pressure inside gets too high when the outdoor temperature rises and causes overflowing
FINALLY, an actual video showcasing a truly different option for a canister stove setup... Every other backpacking channel is just rehashing the same old Jetboil, Pocket Rocket and MSR-based shit over and over again...
Thank you and glad you found it useful! Those other stoves you mentioned are great too. This canister is very solidly built so it might be a little heavy for backpacking, but the size is unbeatable
There's a reason it's not recommended, it's in no way a good alternative. If you truly want a better option to a jet boil just get a Soto Amicus with a regular 110g isopro can and a toaks mug.
@@TheDanteBootsThe only reason it isn’t recommended is because everyone comparing canister stoves just times boiling water and measures the fuel it takes. The flame patern on the snowpeak is way better for cooking and using a wider pot than any of the stoves you mentioned.
@@TheDanteBoots Well it might be hard to imagine, but some people can use the same stove for all kinds of different hikes or picnics or whatever. You can also get some very light fry pans.
Wow, this is very cool! I love the 110g isobutane canisters but they are expensive. Some people refill them directly but it seems dangerous. This is a great solution! I wish there were a bigger version of this though..
Thank you for watching! Yes, we have been refilling the 110g isobutane canisters. You can do it easily with an adapter, however, it's not recommended because the canister might break when it's overfilled. There is a bigger version of this refillable canister available: amzn.to/4eTNpJw. We will review it once it is back in stock, so stay tuned!
one thing i would like canister to have...is non flat bottom. I like using a "spider' so that the canister is more stable (as the example you showed is perfect, 100% flat surface which doesn't happen always in the wild). With the normal canisters aka "non refillable" the have curved bottom and you can attach a spider.
Hello, that is a great comment. This canister has a 1/4” tripod mount at the bottom, which I think can serve as an alternative solution. Thanks for watching!
Look into the Firebox Box Pot. It’s a stainless steel square cook pot. It’ll fit the ramen perfectly without having to break it in half. They have lots of videos about the Box Pot. 👍

I'd love to get the boundless voyage filter - looks great for long hikes. Can you recommend an insulated/double walled snowpeak cup or mug that would match it without needing the cup adapter/holder? Sick of my coffees getting cold!
Question, does the refillable canister by itself nest within the provided cups of the stanley cook set? Seems like a potential budget setup for those a bit financially daunted by nabbing those titanium cups
Thank you for putting together this video. I'm looking at simplifying my cookset for my road trips. Could you make more cooking videos and introduce new products as they are available. Also, when filling the canister with propane what should be the weight (canister + propane) when filled?
It’s 235g when the canister is filled with butane, we haven’t tried it with propane yet, technically it will be similar. And yes we will make more videos to introduce new products:) thank you for watching!
I put a brs3000 on a smaller gas canister from a candle lantern. Not a good idea as the canister hot dangerously hot after a few seconds. Works fine with any other burner. Dont do this with a brs burner.
Thanks for sharing! That’s interesting. I think it also depends on what you put on top of the stove, or maybe the flame was too strong on the BRS burner. Anyway, safety first!
Hello! There are two ways to fill the gas without a scale: 1. Time it: It takes about 30-35 seconds to fill from empty to full. 2. Fill until overflow: Fill it until liquid gas gushes out from the gas filling valve. Use this as a guide to stop filling. If overfilled, there is a gas release in the middle of the valve. You can press it to release some excess gas before connecting it to a stove.
We did try it, and it worked, but make sure not to do it indoors, as it might cause smoke if oil from the food drips onto the fire, like with meat and fish. When the oil drips onto the stove, it’s not easy to clean afterward. It works well for veggies like mushrooms and asparagus, or for making s’mores
Can you give some info on how many grams of coffee you’re using in that little pour over insert as well as how much water you’re actually pouring. I got mine today and my normal ratios are just not working lol
Sorry to hear that. Are you talking about the adapter here? amzn.to/3W77cOc. The button on the side is for releasing the gas when it’s overfilled. You might check the video in the link for instructions. Hope that helps!
Thank you for watching! This is an American channel, but we're glad to hear from the other side of the globe! We have translated the title into other languages. Thank you again for watching our videos!
We did that all the time; it’s easy with an adapter. However, need to be cautious not to overfill it because the can might break if there is too much gas inside. Also, when the temperature rises, the air volume inside will increase
Why? Some people like to do this out in their yard or in a park or somewhere. If you don't like watching someone who shares where they got something so others can get it too and be convenient about it, or if you don't like some of these types of equipment, don't watch this channel. I live in a house where I totally have to cook this way a lot of the time. Just FYI
And this is not fussy, it's calming, it's a form of asmr, it's very Asian and organized, sweet, elegant, clear. Go cook in the outback wilderness on a log torch or something which suits you 😂 There are TONS videos on RUclips for that!! This is different and unique, and suitable for other settings, other needs, people in different situations from what you're describing. Every video doesn't have to be a different version of the same thing for goodness sake! I like both but I have to live this way every day and I'm enjoying this channel greatly and it's helping me.
I'd watch the whole thing if you were actually outside in the country or a woodland. This is silly in your kitchen. The boil time and other demos are nothing like real world use

best pocket stove video ive ever seen thank you !

We use it for coffee and tea. It can boil 400 grams of water (two cups) about 6-7 times
