Bravo! Very fine, professional level performance. And a great model for students. The people who are criticizing her bow direction, bow hold, violin hold, and rhythmic steadiness, don't know what they're talking about.
My teacher recommended me to watch your video as a guide for playing this piece for my recital. You are very talented ma'am. Thank you for sharing your talent for us. 😄
I just started working on this piece two weeks ago. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. This recording will certainly help me while practicing at home.
I have already watched your Video over 20 times and each time I am so impressed about how beautiful you play this. I play violin since I was 14 (today i'm 20) and I hope I'll be able to play like you in the future ♡
As a violinist myself, I chose to do this piece as a last minute solo for memorization. I have been using this video as a guide to help me practice and I think everything is great. The only complaint I have does not have to do with the piece but your bow. It tends to not be straight and moves around too much. Other than that it was played very well. Love it.
Actually most violin pieces, especially ones with high pitch, are hard to play without moving the bow around a bit. Also it's up to personal preference. But I agree, she should be moving AWAY from the fingerboard when playing that high.
@@noaaa5455 After nearly 50 years I have learned that it is not personal preference, but that the precise distance you play from the bridge greatly affects the tonal quality of each note. Closer to the bridge--thick and powerful; further from the bridge--more mellow and gentle.
In fact, her performance is brilliant. All I noticed is that she has to work very hard to get the sound out of the violin when she really wants to. I definitely CANNOT play this anything close to as good as she does, but I'm just comparing her playing to some of the greats, who we can all try to emulate. I'll first work at getting somewhere as good as Ms. Singhal one day though....hopefully.
Five days? Five days! If you can learn and memorize a piece like this in five days, you're amazing. And you ought to post some of your playing--of more advanced stuff. If you can do this one in five days, I would vote you are capable of it--dream, reach, and do it!
Oh my god! It’s the greatest performance I have ever seen! My younger sister and I liked and subscribed ur channel. I’m looking forward to watch more of ur videos!🤗
+DiscoDerp and Raditz Yes, and that is mainly why I view the song as complex - because mastering it and having good intonation all the way throughout it is in my eyes pretty difficult, as you said.
Never watch this with your violin teacher!! "Oh great, wrist stuff!" "Her bow hand is horrible!!" "She's not holding with her head! There like this much of the chin rest exposed!" (Shows finger length) "She messed up there!" Oh gosh...
So i have to do a solo competition in 3 months and im thinking about using this piece. If any one who has played it has any thoughts about it, (was it really hard or boring ext.) or any other recommendations i would love to hear. I have been playing for 4 years and am thinking about playing this one or and saraband in g minor by carl bohm, i woudl love any advice or thoughts, Thank you so much :)
+kika I am playing this too! It is super fun and has a lot of fun parts in it that are kinda hard but so pretty! If you can play Vivaldi's concerto in d, then you're just the right level for it. This piece is really impressive and good for a competition.
Beccy Martin Thank you, i appreciate your advice, have you heard the other song I mentioned? I think i want to do that one because it is a lot slower. Is that not as impressive? I also just love its minor key, I dont really know what level of music i am on, right now i am playing Suzuki book 3, but i just started the Suzuki method a month ago and i started on that one. Most of the songs i have played have been in orch. Haha sorry for all the random info but i have never done a competition like this before, and my violin teacher has competed in some but she has never helped any one do it so she dosnt really know what music to use so i would love all the advice i can get :)

Yes. And always in a musically appropriate manner.
Right? I thought she did a super epic job!

Dipper and Mabel same, AND I HATE THIS SONG. THIS IS STUPID.
+Firal Rally omg same THIS SONG IS SO FRICKIN HARD!!
+Addison Andrus same this is such a hard piece
+Addison Andrus Huh. I found it pretty easy. Is it playing the piece or reading the music you find difficult?
Interior Truth my teacher too

Clearly, she has practised 40 hours a day
We have a ling ling
How does she practise 40 hours a day? There's only 24 hours in a day😒
