I'm an audi technician in washington state they usually come in with less than 40 miles. some of the rs models or the r8's can come with around 90 at times. they test those a little more rigorously. A4s usually only have 7-14 miles on them when i do the inspection
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Malcolm Vivaan I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
my parents got a brand new audi when i was 4 and it worked really good.. lasted for a good 10 years then sold it ,,i still miss it .. AUDIS ARE THE BEST CARS OUT THERE...
They are covering the body so it does get damaged from shipping it to dealerships. I am American I own a 2000 A6 2.7T and love it. I can't wait to own an A8 this year as well.
I would give anything in the world... to work at that factory.. I would make that car with passion and heart each and every day. And in response to the guy who is crushing peoples dreams.. it may be 100k now.. but it will go down eventually. I dont care what year.. A fucking A8 is an A8.. king of the streets is what that car is.. luxury.. speed.. the perfect blend of each. Just beautiful.
Nice. The new A5 looks stunning. Good choice. Honestly, before considering test driving the A8 I drove the new A4 instead (because of its looks, it was literally hypnotising me). I honestly couldn't see anything wrong with the handling. It does what it's supposed to do which is to stay straight and not roll in the corners, that's probably why you found it stiff.
Nice. You can get more than enough performance from that. And TDI won't let you down, ever, especially when it comes to fuel economy. My 3.0 TDI A8 can average 40MPG no problem and it can get roughly 50MPG on the motorway. I don't know how it does it. FWD from Audi offers much more grip than you'd expect too. Again, good choice.
It something about a BMW's rear-wheel drive that brings back my inner child. But like I said, went for the looks and got the A5 coupe. S-Line package on it. Really enjoying it. Brings a smile to my face everytime I look at the driveway :)
The Audi A8 comes standard with LED daytime running lights and Bixenon headlights regardless of the package, however the Full LED headlights are an advanced alternative to headlight lighting for the Audi A8 & A6. Its just an option, the same way a rear view camera is an option. The Full LED headlights are not another design style of LED daytime running lights, they are the actual headlights themeselves which illuminate at night the same way Bixenon headlights would.
I travel long distances, so I pretty much had to take a Diesel. And that engine configuration has the lowest CO2 emission, which really was a must in my country (otherwise taxes would've killed me :D).
ad test drive: Take Kia's factory in Slovakia for an instance. They make Cee'd, which is mass produced small car (same size as A3). Before shipping out they test main systems and drive it around their test track. Every single one of them and they are cheaper than the cheapest Audi in production - and I mean like half the price cheaper. So believe it. Audi test every car. Just the rutine is different for different models.
@VolunteerLS110 Interesting question. I got a new A3 Sportback and it already had 14 km. on it. I wonder if they disconnect the odometer or something like that before delivering them worldwide, since all these tests and rolling onto and out of transports should put quite a few kilometers on them...
True but they do drive great when everything works. I remember my Uncle's W220 S Class, endless problems but for the short while that it did work properly it was smooth as silk and felt like a rolling bank vault.
Oh wait you are right. I totally forgot the problems I recently had on my 09' A4 LOL. The glovebox and alarm horn broke, But still I'm pretty sure it's not as worse as the older generation stuff.
@noxis93 No I do not know what he is saying.. But I am pretty sure that the people on the microphone is making sure every single feature is working while he is driving..
@Demineralize That's true! I was just thinking about it the other day. But that's true. A Golf's a Golf even 10 years later, an A6 too. They did change the design with the advent of C5,C6. But you can go down to C4 and see they still look awesome, even though the first one was built 16 years ago! Anyways, do you maybe know what does the guy repeat in the earphone at the beginning?
about 10 kilometers are done on a test drive but loading and unloading the car and driving about on the parking from the dealer might bring that number up to 15-20 kilometers
Thanks for the answer. but why do they make two different headlamps? I mean aren't the full- LED lamps one of the most important features the new A8 has?
@noxis93 Every single audi a8 does go on the road for a test drive.. This particular vehicle is worth over 100 thousand dollars.. So every vehicle goes through every step you saw. Probably not as careful as the people demonstrated on the vid.. Because we are after all are human beings. But all Audi's are required for road test and high-quality steps as these. I know because I live next to an Audi production company and you'll see the new a8 on a road test about every 40-60 mins. I have a LED A6
@fastlane59 I promise that I'll keep working hard and do my best to be able to buy some day a car like that audi. Thanks for the encouragement, and good luck to you too!
@itssomeidiot to keep it clean and safe even from dust and lil stones that might cause a scratch to the body while driving...sometimes people do that when they are about to go on a road trip or to travel somewhere
Seems a bit biased. I've been to a testday where I've driven a BMW 3-series, Mercedes E class and and Audi A4 (all 2012) models. To my surprise, BMW and Mercedes are almost identical, while Audi's seem to be more stiffer when it comes to handling. Either way, picking up a 2012 A5 Coupe this afternoon :)
@DJSFV12 Then they'll make it again and call the owner to tell them what happened and that their delivery will be delayed... it's unlikely that they'll crash it while testing though.
@21mkelly15 I know that, but do they actually have to drive it on public road ? They could have built their own driving facility, like Lexus does in Japan.
@SwiftHDX I think the new 3 series and 5 series look great. Every Audi looks little bit streamlined and stretched A4. For now it goes like MB/BMW > Audi. Even Volvo's look better than Audi's nowadays.
I wonder why that guy yanks on the Power Steering hoses at around 4:10 ish... Seems a bit funny to yank on hoses, there are away more hoses than that :)
i like it but i think there is too much aluminum i wish it was more of a touch of aluminum. and i don't like the analog clock but i probably still get this car
One of the most High-Tech cars on the market,and the one probably the best interior! Build with top materials and latest possible innovations,BUT..,you enjoy it when it works..,and most of the time it doesnt!! As a long time BOSCH mechanic i can say with confidence that Audi is one of the most unreliable cars on the market! Even Kia and Hyundai are far ahead in terms of reliability!! We dont talk about dashboard leather stitching,we talk reliability!!
@PkBooYa if you know anything about car production lines you'll know that the cars must be tested and driven before they get sold. Try to find a new car on a dealers lot with 0 miles.

It`s not only fascinating car but styling beauty car.Audi is awesome cars!
I love these production/assembly plant videos.

@Fletcher Brodie instablaster =)
@Malcolm Vivaan I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out atm.

@Malcolm Vivaan It worked and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass !
@Fletcher Brodie glad I could help :D
10 year's later it still looks like a new
my parents got a brand new audi when i was 4 and it worked really good.. lasted for a good 10 years then sold it ,,i still miss it .. AUDIS ARE THE BEST CARS OUT THERE...
D4 was the best car I owned never let me down in 5 years of ownership
Damn, i just love this brand, they make great stylish cars.
Probably the best cars in the world.
It's so cool to see the A6 C6 still in production in 2011
im new to Audi.. the a8 2011 will be my first audi ever
it will arrive in the end of December enshallah ;d
I like their wraping style!! :D

My dream car, Planning to have one within next year or so

Just looking at those smooth roads and I compare to the ones here in Jersey and I want to cry.
Oh, fabulous car btw.
I travel long distances, so I pretty much had to take a Diesel. And that engine configuration has the lowest CO2 emission, which really was a must in my country (otherwise taxes would've killed me :D).
They're still into racing and look, they still create some of the best cars around.
this is what I call perfect Car Factory
every thing is organized and controlled
I find it hard to believe every car goes on the road for a test drive :p
Is a dream work in audi!
Nice
my left ear enjoyed this...
Is that a fuckin' space ship or what? More buttons and knobs than just any regular car. A8, such a great machine :)
I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to afford that Audi, but awesome car, anyway.

Yeah I wonder what kind of experience of university experience you would need to work at an Audi factory plant. Friggin dream job.
it makes an immediate difference when it compare with the video that was taken in China

Amazing looking car.
I respect Audi for making life hard for Mercedes and BMW :)
nice job..nice car
@PkBooYa I think its just special metal used for the brakes
i freakin LOVE AUDI'S!!!!!!!
@noxis93 No I do not know what he is saying.. But I am pretty sure that the people on the microphone is making sure every single feature is working while he is driving..
very nice job they have.

عطوني وحده منها هههههههه حظهم الله يرزقنا
they test-drive EVERY A8 before shipping...We just bought ours and saw it on the factory tour
Thanks for the answer. but why do they make two different headlamps? I mean aren't the full- LED lamps one of the most important features the new A8 has?

@DrkMmn Well it wasn't a RS4, but was an Audi A4 of some sort, well spotted.
The Audi A8 is truley a awesome luxury car. Was that white car a 2010 Audi RS4?
Awesome!!
@fastlane59
I promise that I'll keep working hard and do my best to be able to buy some day a car like that audi. Thanks for the encouragement, and good luck to you too!

Love this video
At the beggining it reminds me the movie !!!!
3:06 he was like slamming the buttons
Masterpiece

you work on them, how are the 2006-08 models fair a8l?
Earrings seem to be very popular amongst Audi employees
@VolunteerLS110
If I remember correctly, legally, they can put up to 50km, but I am not sure.
@TheRoedolf007 yeah, their control is much better. have you seen the video about f10-type 5-series bmw:s production?
I would love an Audi. WISH I COULD BUY ONE.
Do it :) I have an Audi A6 Allroad :)
Ennizen What year?
2003:)
Ennizen Those are very well made cars.
I love Audi:) Best cars ever! I would like to have Audi A8 or S8 :)
@Demineralize Well, my family owns a '10 Audi A6 and I didn't know they really did that! My God, I just love this company more now ^^
I wonder why that guy yanks on the Power Steering hoses at around 4:10 ish... Seems a bit funny to yank on hoses, there are away more hoses than that :)
audi
I want that job and that car.
Simply replacing the torque converter on one of these cars is nearly a 5k repair at the dealership. Ask me how I know.
wow~ made in germany?
i like it but i think there is too much aluminum i wish it was more of a touch of aluminum. and i don't like the analog clock but i probably still get this car
Damn I want his job!

@VolunteerLS110
in germany new cars have around 60 and 80 kilometers. :P
@VolunteerLS110
When I got mine, it had about 2 or 3 km on it.
I also see an Audi A8 D3 in the movie. I would like to know if the A8 D3 was produced in 2010?
I'm love audi.
thank you china and us for buying these cars.
Everywhere? I don't know what you think calm means but I definitely didn't go crazy.
i want this guy's job
Which engine did you get it with?
@PkBooYa if you know anything about car production lines you'll know that the cars must be tested and driven before they get sold. Try to find a new car on a dealers lot with 0 miles.
How many miles do they put on new cars before they give you the keys?
4 ring 4 ever ! this is AUDI
