    Hyundai has impressed a lot with its recent product lineup, and the quality and tech of the new Kona is no exception. It might just be the best all rounder for a sensible, low running cost small SUV packed with tech.

    That’s one of the best car reviews I have seen. Covered all the basics, and the points you wouldn’t think about till purchased.
    Wasn’t trying to be a movie star, just gave us the facts. 10/10 gold star. 🌟 very impressed. Thank you.

    Thank you for the amazing video. Whats the blinking lights above the steering at 08:14?

    • @ItsDanLatham
      @ItsDanLatham  3 месяца назад +1

      It's infrared (the camera picks it up but you cant see it with your eyes) - this is to monitor if you are paying attention to the road or fall asleep etc

    So they put the headlights down on the corner of the bumper where you are the most likely to hit them on a minor accident? Genius.

    My biggest gripe is that it doesnt have Adaptive cruise control only standard CC. Suspension is very stiff as if it was built for the weight of the battery and the petrol version was an after thought. Also too many warning sounds

    • @ItsDanLatham
      @ItsDanLatham  5 месяцев назад +1

      Agree on the warning sounds. These things beep like mad unless you turn off a lot of the assists

    • @robbiebiggerstaff5072
      @robbiebiggerstaff5072 3 месяца назад

      I believe the Adaptive Cruise Control comes with the auto version of the Kona

      I own a new Hyundai Tucson, as far as i am aware, adaptive cruise comes as standard with only auto, hybrids or electric… as for too many warning signs, if there weren’t fae too many idiots on UK roads, we would need any at all 😂😂😂, but on a serious note, that’s just being picky 😂 majority of them can be turned off on any vehicle..

    out of interest - Juke Hybrid or Kona Hybrid (IK know there is a difference in price) - which would you go for??

    • @ItsDanLatham
      @ItsDanLatham  5 месяцев назад +1

      Definitely Kona if you ignore cost! The Juke is a decent car, and the e-Power version is clever - but the Kona is better quality in every way, more steering feel, and a much better infotainment system.

      @@ItsDanLathamthanks - test drove the Kona a few weeks ago (lovely apart form the annoying beeps you have to turn off everytime you start the car) - planning to test the Juke this weekend - sat in one yesterday - bigger than expected, but yes the kona just "feels" better (and yes that the 4-5k price premium but thats ok)

      @@ItsDanLatham quite liked the Juke, yes smaller and less "premium" than the kona but then it is £5K cheaper... need to weigh up numbers

      The majority of car reviews are filmed and presented this way on social media and TV. I drop clips in of the features as I talk about them. If you want something like a POV video, there are plenty of those out there!
