So....funny story. I've been listening to this song for ages and loved it, but had actually never heard the original - I liked the style of this too much.
Finally heard the original today (it's amazing, I've been missing out)....but realised that what I'd always heard and sung along to as "Every awful bang, every broken dream" was actually 'thing', which....yeah. slightly changes the tone.
