Great video and amazing work ethic to nail the Kurzgergabdjeuaqnt aesthetic! Also, props for including your project files. This channel deserves success.
Brilliant video! I am on a mission to abandon after effects and use Blender (and unreal engine) exclusively for everything in motion graphics and special effects. I love seeing this kind of tutorial. Something like a kurzgesagt video that you wouldn't normally use blender to make, yet blender can do it after all! I would welcome more tutorials like this for 2d motion graphics stuff in blender.
I really apreciate this breakdown. After leaving windows for linux, 2D motion graphics production was one thing I was hesitant to jump back into since I could no longer reliably use after effects and natron is quite hit or miss. I will be trying out some of these techniques soon. Aloha and Mahalo.
Hey, do you change any settings on you Blender? I have the Problem that, then I will Make a Circle from the curves ( 0:49 ), I dont have so many options to add like you ( I have only bezier , circle , nurbs curve , nurbs curcle and Path). And when I click on Cicle (Like You) I only became an colorless Cicle. Thanks for the rest of your video
Heeyyy hey! I'm the guy who made the video, Hope this helps :) Go to - Preferences - Addons - Add Curve:Extra Objects (enable this). Now you should have extra curves.
Sb made Kurzgesagt style animations using PowerPoint, but your video here clearly demonstrated Blend is more powerful in making this kind of animation (much smoother transitions in higher resolution). If you could make a detailed tutorial on making the animations that would be greatly helpful!!
Thank you. Could you also make a video tutorial about the method of making them as 3d models and 3d animation instead of 2d? That would be way more cooler.
Making it this way, rigging seems to take so much longer, but it's super interesting cause you can then import the birds into other videos, and them already rigged, and should be much easier to animate like this, rather than using After Effects Great tutoial!
It's great to see how other artists approach this type of work in Blender . In a motion graphics pipeline you'll have designers work in Photoshop or illustrator and the layers gets handed to the motion graphics artist to import into After Effects ready to be animated. The art is ready for you and there's no need to create those graphic shapes again. There's some great third party rigging tools for AE such as DUIK, Limber, Joysticks N' Sliders. Duik is even developing cutout rigging tools for Blender which I'm very excited for. Kurzgesagt and other studios have a large team of people so it's probably more efficient to work in AE for this style of animation but they are for sure increasing the quality of their work by introducing Blender to their pipeline.
This is so cool, thank you. Its crazy how much you can do with blender.
It really is!
Very nice tutorial! I would like to say that the motion blur does look somewhat jarring when combined with the flat-colored, vector-like style.
The fact that you included the project files is absolutely insane. Loving your content keep it up!
Glad you enjoy it!
This what we can call an actual CG content creator !!!
Bravo

Nice video, thanks for sharing :)
You do an amazing job on these videos. Thank you for making them.
Glad you like them!
wow i'm not even using this to replicate kurz, this is just a really good tutorial on how to do 2d motion graphics with blender
Respect for Kurzgesagt channel has increased exponentially.
Wow this was very insightful, gonna try recreating a video for fun
You should! Let us know how it goes :D
THIS IS GONNA BE FUN TO MAKE YTPS WITH YAY
Thank you bro, gonna check out the project file over lunch🤝🏾⚡
Enjoy! :D
AMAZING! Thanks bro :)
Dude. You're a God. Thank you
Thank you so much!

Very nice. Thanks for showing.
and you hav provided time stamps too! wow! I am trying this!
but no one can still replace that hot voice of kurzgesagt
true but touch grass
I'm really grateful. Thank you
Thank you for the detailed explanation. I am new to blender as well.. understood many things from your video.🤓
Brilliant !!
Amazing
Feels almost as if Kurzgesagt used this instead of Adobe
Please make more videos on this topic

@@pezeffect god bless you
thanks for this team
Our pleasure!
Thank you, this video it was very helpfuly for my work.
You're very welcome!
Thank you I appreciate this video
Great video. Is it possible to make a lesson about designing a 2D character and making rigs and bones for it?
Still awesome! would love to see a tutorial on making that exact rig :)
🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yooo! that so cool
THANK YOU

We can try seeing what the style would look like in 3D! Seems like a biiit too much effort to emulate a 2D style but its possible :p
@@TeamMiracles Thanks.

Great tutoial!
I always wondering, animating 3d compositions in after effect is waay intimdating compared to blender.
Very good tutorial.. dont forget to increase motion blur samples >=8
Thanks for the tip!
Are you guys sri lankan? this is so cool. Subbed and followed. :)
How to make those elements, pls make video on it
Can you also give me link of the background scene the rocket scene.
Nice work thank you for sharing
please how to make that bones ?
Thanks!
Looks great, lose the blur though :)
Oh good point! Thanks for the feedback
How do you make the shapes have colors? I only have the lines. I am using blender 3.5
Top demais 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
holy shit
How do I keep the objects in 2D space when I move the pose? It tends to overlap other objects creating odd clipping when I move my bird.
Hi, what fps did you use for your video render?
good luck.....nice ....improve....
What is the website
What is the website?
Why not use Grease pencil for this wouldn't that be easier?
Meanwhile Kurzgesagt suffering on After Effect ... 🤣
they also use blender for 3d stuff
@@nitinsharmax129 No, they don't. ruclips.net/video/uFk0mgljtns/видео.html

@@KlaudiusL That video is from early 2020 my dude, this year they started using blender as part of their workflow
@@clanker8021 I didn't know. Thanks for the upgrade. 👍
