Thanks for making it easy for us to follow. Making a big batch and freezing them for later consumption is a great advice. Looking forward to the tonkatsu video next time. Cheers!
This is the almost exact recipe I use when making gyoza. I’m so happy you made a video about this. I’m trying to check what are the difference is and I found out that I need to drain the water for my filling 😂. That’s one of my problem making this. It gets watery. Thank you for the tip Hiro-kun ❤️❤️. Love from Philippines 🇵🇭
This Gyoza is one of my favorite japanese food. Everytime I go to a Japanese restaurant here in the Philippines. I partner it with Mizo Ramen & and Rivenera.
Nice! Will try your gyoza recipe. Thank you! For the gyoza sauce, you could try adding a bit of calamansi (or lemon) juice, a slice or two of red onion, and a sliced chili pepper to give it a little kick.
Man Hiro you got some talent! Thanks for the easy instructions as I will be trying this. I love how gyoza has bit of a chew a bit of a chew and that crispy crust. Beautiful plate! I would love to see a tonkatsu dish in the future as well!
I agree with your wife, gyoza tastes better with chili oil! Another recipe for me to ecperiment with! Hope i can perfect it the way you do it! Thank you for another mouth watering recipe!
I've been craving for seafood Gyoza. I remember it having onions. I used to get it easily near my College. Now I couldn't find it in the market near my place. Thanks for sharing!
That’s a good question! I usually put equal parts of soy sauce and vinegar but it depends on the person. If you like sour food, you can add more vinegar. If you don’t like sour food, you can add less vinegar or no vinegar 😊
Looks delicious. The only thing I would change is I would add chopped up water chestnuts. I love them in mine. It's an added surprise with everything else that is soft inside.
I bought Sake online because of Sir Hiro. Hehe! I'll make this one as well. My daughters will like this. Thanks!
Great! Sake is important when cooking Japanese dishes🧑🍳 Did you like it?

Mataneeeeeeeee
Mataneeeeeeeee 😊
thanks for sharing your recipe. what can i substitute if i dont have sesame oil? can you also cook tonkatsu? 😁
You can skip it 👍😊Will do 🫡
Would any other filling mix be okay, or is gyoza strictly meat and greens? Like, would carrots make it weird?
Carrots would not make it weird at all. The one I made in the video was very basic. You can put anything you want such as cheese and kimuchi 😊
@@HiroFoodinJapan Cheese in gyoza! Now I'm hungry again!
Hope you make katsudon ♥️
Will do 🫡
Hiro-san, are we allowed to use either ground beef or chicken instead of pork?
Yes! You can use ground beef and chicken 👍
bake sushi pls😀
Where to find Gyoza Wrapper? 😂😂
Maybe Japanese grocery store 😃
Now i won't buy gyoza again
Looks delicious. The only thing I would change is I would add chopped up water chestnuts. I love them in mine. It's an added surprise with everything else that is soft inside.
That would give a nice texture 👍 Are you Japanese?
