    This is the almost exact recipe I use when making gyoza. I’m so happy you made a video about this. I’m trying to check what are the difference is and I found out that I need to drain the water for my filling 😂. That’s one of my problem making this. It gets watery.     This Gyoza is one of my favorite japanese food. Everytime I go to a Japanese restaurant here in the Philippines. I partner it with Mizo Ramen & and Rivenera.

    For the gyoza sauce, you could try adding a bit of calamansi (or lemon) juice, a slice or two of red onion, and a sliced chili pepper to give it a little kick.

    Man Hiro you got some talent! Thanks for the easy instructions as I will be trying this. I love how gyoza has bit of a chew a bit of a chew and that crispy crust. Beautiful plate! I would love to see a tonkatsu dish in the future as well!

      That’s a good question! I usually put equal parts of soy sauce and vinegar but it depends on the person. If you like sour food, you can add more vinegar. If you don’t like sour food, you can add less vinegar or no vinegar 😊

    Would any other filling mix be okay, or is gyoza strictly meat and greens? Like, would carrots make it weird?

      Carrots would not make it weird at all. The one I made in the video was very basic. You can put anything you want such as cheese and kimuchi 😊

    Looks delicious. The only thing I would change is I would add chopped up water chestnuts. I love them in mine. It's an added surprise with everything else that is soft inside.
