Highly enjoyable. Great perspectives. Thank you for showing the whole servicing. Really allows one to pretend to be seeing an original. (Forcibly ignoring the trucks and cars passing by and the plastic water bottles intruding on the scene.) Well done.
Thank you, Charles. At an event like this it's hard to avoid all that and the crowds of people that I was surrounded by. Still very grateful that C&TSR put on the event that was attended by so many people who traveled long distances to witness history!
Eureka and Glenbrook are as precious as Gold. As locomotives build in the 19th century, I just call them the Golden Relics. I’m getting close to having large scale models of them by Bachmann trains.
I didn’t expect RGS #20 to be taken to Cumbres and Toltec from the Colorado Railroad Museum as well. But what’s an iron horse roundup without the wood and coal burning relics built between the 19th and 20th centuries.
Great experience and great video. My only question is the placement of 168 as the helper and the 425 as the road loco; I would have figured the 4-6-0 to be the passenger or road loco. It was nice to see the coupling bar of GLENBROOK used but there is no other way to couple them. Link-and-pin usage in 2021, yeah.
Please share us some RGS 20 Footage, would love to see that baby sketch its legs. Did the cumbres plan on a rgs 20 and rgs 455 (draw 463) mudhen doubleheader? As always, great stuff. Appreciate your hard work man!
Out of all the traveling locomotives Eureka and Palisade #4 and the Glenbrook are my favorite. I love 19th century 4-4-0s and 2-6-0s.
It was a once in a lifetime event and great to see!
Awesome to see the real iron horse. Fantastic it still runs. Thanks 🙏
It was great to see these in such good condition and running so well!

Yes totally, these things are so old. Love to see one up close.
Sweet, sweet video Tom
Thank you, Pete!
This sure is one hell of an event when it comes to narrow gauge steam
This may be the event of the decade as far as narrow gauge goes!
@@YardLimit yep, not to mention reunion of several 19th century steam engines at one of the most famous tourist lines in america
@@YardLimit Maybe even the century!!
@@jml8975 I would agree with that!
It was awesome. Glad to see both water refills.
Thanks Dom. I know people like to see the entire thing and I'm glad to share it!
Beautiful....just beautiful! Thanks for including both water fills in their entirety....Great Stuff!
I'm glad you liked that. I try to include entire procedures instead of editing parts out. I think it's interesting.

Nice!
What a beautiful sight and ---Music to my aging ears!
Mine too! Thanks!
I was there on the 21st and 22nd! Really felt like I was back in the 1800's, such a cool event!
That's cool!
Greatly filmed, a beautiful video and with unique steam locomotives. Thank you for showing me.
Thank you very much!

I wish I had seen 20 but that didn't work out for me, but the rest of it was amazing!
Wonderful footage, felt like being in a Western movie showing the ol' days!
Thanks!
This is great. What an event.
Thank you. It was great!
Amazing videos! Awesome locations
Thank you!

That was really cool to see the link and pin setup! Thanks Roy!
Szép videó!😀 Nyomtam egy like!👍
Thank you!
Wow, that is epic!
Thanks Brian!
The 168 and 315 as 425 also look great as a doubleheader. Golden Relics that run on wood can coal.

Thank you very much! We will be returning to Chama this weekend and will get some video of 20!
I wish I had known about this.
You might consider following one of the forums like NG Discussion or Train Orders.
Very nice video.
What was the deal with the overflowing water on the tender of the Eureka?
The hole to the tender was smaller than the water spout. Thank you for watching!
why is 425’s numbering yellow?
I don't know but you might check the NG forum. ngdiscussion.net/phorum/list.php?1

It was great to see them together!
