I purchased the first edition of Order Of The Phoenix last week, listed as New. It arrives all worn, yellow pages with musty smell. Returned it immediately.
That italian attempt was awful bad but I've never heard someone say "RAMETTI!" (twigs) with such an emphasys before and I absolutely loved it!

it's so cool watching you get all excited unboxing the new books! and even cooler to see that you've got the hardcover brazilian editions! i am from brazil myself, but unfortunately i don't own those (YET!).
i have three full sets; the original ones i read as a kid (philosopher's stone didn't even have the stylized 'Harry Potter' yet, and Draco was called Drago - i wonder if that's one you've got as well), Jhonny Duddle's new covers, in portuguese, and Kazu Kibuishi's set in american english. i'm also collecting the gorgeous illustrated editions in british english, and i'm so excited for goblet of fire to be released!
it's a humble little collection, but everyone in my family thinks i'm crazy and that it's too much Harry Potter, but after seeing your videos.. i beg to differ!

I was wondering what are you gonna do with all the translations? I used to have copies of Harry Potter except the last book. But I'm starting to love those UK adult edition cover of HP but I might consider buying them. I'm now collecting Agatha Christie books at the moment minus the foreign transactions.

I'm a Harry Potter fan and a minor collector. Nothing even approaching your massive collection. I got into Harry Potter when I went to Universal Studios 2 years ago and I just finished reading all of the Harry Potter books. I just want to make a comment, you're hilarious! And I say this is a admiring way. You are so funny! Just listening to you carry on makes me laugh! I'm new to your channel, so I don't know what you do for a living, but I think that you could make a good comedian! Keep up the good work!

You're very welcomed! I loved the Wizarding World! I mean, what better testament as to how I felt about it that it got me to read all seven Harry Potter books [ 4, 224 pages worth!] and turned me into a collector! That's a lot of liking right there! The only thing that I regret was that I didn't know more about Harry Potter. I mean, all that I knew was that it was about a boy wizard and that he was fighting a villain. That's all! I know that I'll appreciate it more now. The first think that I will do is taste butterbeer! First time that I went there, I missed out tasting it, because I didn't know that it was such an important drink in the book. After that, I want to enjoy a nice dinner at the Leaky Cauldron [I did visit it the first time and I loved it] and try the Three Broomsticks that I didn't get to go to. I love Diagon Alley and of course Hogswart. I'll be able to understand more now, and I'll look at the talking portraits and try to recognize the characters. It's going to be great! Oh, by the way, I thought that I was a Hufflepuff, but I took a test and to my surprise found out that I am a Ravenclaw. What are you if I may ask?
It's amazing how much more you can understand by reading the books. I am a Slytherin. :)

OMG I didn't know that about the Sorcerer's Stone book that you were talking about. I just got one from a yard sale the other day to go with my other copys and it doesn't have the diamond look to it and it's got the same numbers you're talking about.

I think you can actually see books 1 to 3 on the shelf of the pottermore covers in portugies(wrong spelling) in 9:58 at up right
The Pottermore covers in English would be an instant purchase for me.
Do you also have the regular American cover of the Hungarian Philosopher’s Stone? I of course saw the first edition one. We also had a leather binded version of the first book, but you usually know about these kind of stuff :D

Hellooo from ITALY, i appreciate you trying to speak Italian, it was one of the best attempt ahahah.
But just so you know.....Italians don't really gesticulate that way nor that much ahahaha and certainly we don't have that accent, infact we consider that way of portraying us as offensive since that accent and those gestures are seen as vulgar and rude here in Italy, but i guess this is just the heritage of some bad interpreted Italian movie character ahahaah.

There’s a new hungarian book covers too, they came out in 2016 I think, but they are not original covers, they are the Johnny Duddle UK 2014 paperback ones, and the translation is the same as far as I know.

I have 1,2 6, and 7 all I original hard back, I wanna buy 3-5 so I can read them again but I wanna buy them in soft back so I'm not spending a ton of money. What are your opinions on the best collectors soft back covers
My favorite soft cover set is the Jonny Duddle covers because they have a luxurious feel to them. But, you might try to get the original soft covers. :D

Estonian has softcover versions too now. All except the last book which is still in shops ad hardcover.

They are indeed! Those are the British first editions.

A mixture. I of cours prefer new, but most of the earlier or rare translations are impossible to find new.

Hey Its Me Nikki We see those every once in a while. It is a somewhat common printer error, but does add a little bit of value to the book. You might get $50-60 for it on eBay.
