My only concern is that many items are 'copied' from 'real' items which means the people who actually created and made the item aren't getting the money they deserve. Which is why I steer clear of anything TM'd on Temu when I buy from them.

These days I try not to shop too much from these sites, but back in the day I did buy a Snape wand. It's very very intricate, and definitely one of the ones they make very accurately since they've been producing it for years as he's one of the main/ popular characters. So if you're unable to afford the licensed wand it's a good alternative.
I feel fairly confident that the wands are recasts of the real ones. As tempting as the posters are, I'm willing to bet they didn't pay the artists or license them 😢
Temu has only recently launched here in South Africa. It comes with the perception of being similar to Wish and not being trustworthy. How was your experience with the received merch vs advertised? Also, any issues on delays of delivery time vs advertised? These are common pitfalls I have discussed with friends. Cool review.
Everything I ever ordered was high quality. And at least in Europe, you can resend back anything you don't like for free and they send you back the money for you right away. That is just my experience.
I order from temu from time to time but not very often because I always feel bad about it. I think it's fine if you buy there sometimes but I kinda always get a bad feeling when big youtubers make ads for it because it animates people to buy there without thinking too much about working conditions and stolen artwork.

So I’m guessing, compared to those prices, the Mandrake plush might be affordable. But I don’t know since I don’t buy plushies anymore.

I have always loved your content. But publicly suporting a webside build on fast fashion, a horrible work environment with child/slave labour, a horrible impact on the environment. Where almost everything is stolen artworks and ideas of other artists and creators is so wrong. I understand you need sponsors, but selling yourself to this corporations shows you only care about yourself and the money you can earn. Not telling your fans about their horrible impact on the world and the dangerous chemicals that are in many of the clothes and plastic is so wrong. I don't support this

I've seen so many people who have lost their creations/work to Temu or SHEIN...too. People keep an eye out for cheaper lookalikes or they just don't know it is.
I don't think they can, Temu, Shein, and the like are simply the middlemen for the Chinese factories. It'd be difficult to catch all of the little guys. And pretty difficult to stop them from gaining access to the products too, all it takes is one person from the factory to buy the licensed product and bring it back, and they'll be able to replicate it. Unfortunately sometimes they don't even need the physical object; I've heard of a lot of Kickstarter projects being replicated and sold just through the campaign photos before the original creator even launches their product.
There are no copy right laws in China and since most companies get their products made in china it is a risk they are willing to take to get stuff for cheaper so they can have a 200-300%mark up on their products. I laugh when people say about the unfair labour practices, all the legitimate stuff is made there in the same factories by the same people you are just paying more for the same stuff

The only thing I have from Temu is a knock off hermione granger wand and that was a Christmas gift somebody gave me. I have another Hermione wand that I had bought from b&n and you can tell the difference between material. I mean the temu wand ain’t bad, but I prefer the more priced wand cause the tip of the wand isn’t flatten and the color and details are more intricate. The more expensive wand is more meant for display and the temu one is more for cosplay or a Halloween costume or if you have kids, they can play with it without breaking it.

Herd of people getting their card info stolen from temu. They say you should get a pre paid card with no link to you and use that. Also make a new email to use as some people have had their email stolen, spammed, phishing attacks etc.
I purchase from them all the time. I would skip the clothes sheins are better. The jewellery is awesome and so are the home goods. If you need to return anything it’s amazing. I had my refund same day.

Temu does sometimes rip ppl off including selling something a lot worse than in the picture and when u try to leave a bad review it gets deleted I have experience I bought a “charcoal pencil set” it was just a regular colored pencil
I've gotten some good quality items , some licensed too, harry potter related and not thru temu. A lot isn't labeled harry potter, but is. My plush mandrakes and licensed nimbus 2000 pen are my favorites. As with anything your going 2 have some stinkers, but overall I've been stoked since unfortunately my hp budget isn't endless. Lol. I've gotten some cool unique good quality t-shirts too
I use a lot of dips for my cooking - I got this amazing set of restaurant sauce cups from Temu with HP designs on them. It is one of my favorite things - along with my 24 sets of taco holders.
You have done a number of designs and collabs with artists now, I sincerely hope that those designs don’t end up on Temu one of these days. Artists need to support artists. Temu is a parasite.

I think there something everyone forgets when it comes to the pronunciation of TEMU. In China they read from right to left not left to right, so I’m thinking we are all getting wrong and it actually pronounced UMET.😂

I bought that sorting hat for last years Halloween (it's sitting out of my house, so no need for an expensive one) and I used dark brown fabric painters and painted the eyes and the mouth - so it looks a bit more real. I also love to use some of the small keychains and rings/necklaces/pins as gifts for Halloween (I pack small gift bags and the ids get a pack each and can choose a candy from the trolley - or a school item, like hand made wand pencils/brooms/ small notebooks and such) for Halloween I really like it, usually not a big fan of them. I'm constantly getting Emails from them with various coupons, tokens, sorry we were late with this, that, the other. I think I'm shutting those off or unsubscribing. I bought that sorting hat for last years Halloween (it's sitting out of my house, so no need for an expensive one) and I used dark brown fabric painters and painted the eyes and the mouth - so it looks a bit more real.
I also love to use some of the small keychains and rings/necklaces/pins as gifts for Halloween (I pack small gift bags and the ids get a pack each and can choose a candy from the trolley - or a school item, like hand made wand pencils/brooms/ small notebooks and such)
for Halloween I really like it,

I'm constantly getting Emails from them with various coupons, tokens, sorry we were late with this, that, the other. I think I'm shutting those off or unsubscribing. They're making mountains out of molehills in my inbox. Amazon does this too, notifies me of lightning flash sales or deals, but they're nowhere near as bad as Temu for this.
