Who's watching this in self-isolation
I've studied it systematically, and I'm tired of explaining such knowledge to the people around me, so I want to find a suitable link that can be thrown directly to them.
Revising my microbiology lectures 🙈
This is a very clear and articulate explanation of some of the basics way of organising viruses. Thank you.
This was so helpful, thanks!
These 11 minutes were so much more helpful than 40 minutes biology class!KA WE LOVE YOU!
HOW CORONA HUJACK YOUR CELLS?ruclips.net/video/eKigjit_q-g/видео.html
I liked the term "robot hacker' the synonym of "obligate intracellular parasite",, loved the video so much! Thank you Khan Academy!
awesome, awesome videos. Is helping me alot through microbiology in medical school
Thank you!
Explained it in a very understandable way, thank you!
Great video! Your voice reminds me of a young Terry Gross. Bravo!
Thank you for the info, That was excellent. Helps me a lot with the understanding of sicknesses.
Good time to learn about this.- Thanks.
Easily my favorite unit in AP bio so far, great vid
awesome coverage..
Thanks for breaking down the names of things. It really helps to remember them.
Great video, thanks.
I think we should start giving viruses better press because the science on them would then improve also. When something is classed as the bad we are inclined to jump to conclusions that enhance that view. Viruses might be totally necessary for life.

thank you
Great explaining❤
Thank you im going to ace my test b/c of you :)
I prepared this for my KVPY interview
❤THANK YOU❤
Good explanation and lovely voice
Thanks
Thanks so much. Reading for my mcat
this video needs to be remade
A little before 5 mins, she mentions viruses cannot contain both genomic material but that has been since then disproved.
It was good!
For those complaining of audibility and drawing, I wish to remind you that we see and hear what we are. If you are discontent, the honorable thing to do is to post your videos that will outshine this. Until then, please do us a favor, shut up.
Nice attempt at diverting people's attention from a good point that you're obviously a perpetrator of by pointing out an irrelevant portion of the claim to gain attention from people like you
I get the point you're trying to make, and I'm sure they appreciate you sticking up for them, but I don't think we have to make our own videos to critique the video. It's better to have someone tell you what you've done wrong and improve rather than continue to do wrong, right?
Nice explanation
Thank you
excellent explanation brief and to the point but why such low quaility witha maximum of 360p?
thank you so much ^-^
i'm watching because of covid 19
I have one question: Do bacteriophages attack only bacterias? what about eukaryotic cells? You viral replication video mentions that there are three mechanisms of invading a host. So does it mean bacteriophages sneak eukaryotic cells?
It has been two years, but anyway. Bacteriophages "attack" only bacteria, that is what the name of the group means. If it attacked other cells it wouldn't be bacteriophage
I miss the 720p quality. The writing is a little fuzzy when it's just at 360. But all in all a really good explanation. Thank you very much for everything you all do.
Please which app are you using
Good
Thanks for Nice video please write down some key words like you said the virus have one nucleic acid and no (organ oils???) I couldn’t get that part of virus that they lack
it was organelles not organ oils :p
ORGAN OILS LOL IM DYING
Is this Annie Onishi? Her voice sounds soooo familiar
What happens to the original bacteriophage after injecting the bacteria with its DNA/RNA? Is there a "wear out date" for a virus or does it hang out until consumed by the immune system? Thanks in advance
a virus has no metabolism and therefor it cannot make new things that let's it stay alive.
See it like your skin and other things, in less than a year, your whole body, isn't what is was a year before because all cells had been replaced.
But viruses cant do this, so they just die by they're own after some time.
hey guys i need help really bad, i have a presentation in microbiology about varicella zoster (it's a virus that causes chicken pox), does anyone who studied this knows how the virus is build? does it have a lipid diaphragm, how is the virus builded, in which part of the year is it common like summer or? i need help please! hope you understand, i'm don't speak english very good. please! and also how is herpes zoster build?
singularity hindi m
u sound like henry from impulse👀
Please be a little loud, besides that good explaination
i don't know when i was attending the virus class in school ...i started to feel this kind of enmity towards them ..almost like someone tries to rob my house ...Anyone?
HOW CORONA HUJACK YOUR CELLS?ruclips.net/video/eKigjit_q-g/видео.html
what makes the bacteria do this to humans what made these things and why do they exist. its like a perfect way of getting into the human body...
HOW CORONA HUJACK YOUR CELLS?ruclips.net/video/eKigjit_q-g/видео.html
to borrow a phrase, "life will find a way" But are viruses alive? is the bigger question
Viruses are like robot hacker of which there are no such things.
Why are they called robot hackers? Please respond
Icosahedral means 20 sides, i am soooo confused!
Are you confused because she drew it as a hexagon at some point? I will assume so, and answer that for you: icosehdral is indeed 20 sides- imagine a 20 sided die as a 3 dimensional object. Now, cut that die right down the "middle" as a type of cross section and it will appear to be a hexagon. At that point, drawing it 2D as a hexagon is an accurate way to depict the icosehedral shape. 0:27 yeah I always knew size matters
Matrix
wait so are they 100x smaller by diameter or volume?
Diameter
she kinda sounds like christina from greys anatomy
7:24 dont forget to add coronavirus to the list...

receptors are traitors
Sorry but Lego is the plural, not legos. I didn’t make up the rules
binod
is this ViHart???
This isn’t a math video
Useful content but your voice makes me want to sleep.
Sleep and fail....who cares?
Size - and they think masks can possibly work... lol
you are such a dumb fuck
How do Bio majors find any of this interesting? zzz zzzz zzzz zz zzzz
It's just fascinating how something so microscopic can effect a living being.
Got it. I'm glad there are people like you in the world who go on to become doctors and Biologist. I'll stick to mathematics and coding, lol.
The $250k a year a doctor makes, makes it interesting.
or the $150k a pharmacists makes
or the $75k a nurse makes
wanna know what is not interesting?
the $25k the guy at guitar center makes
Woah this was an interesting progression of replies
Because we eventually learn how they cause disease or in the case of our gut bacteria are necessary for normal function
Your voice is so hot.
This was so helpful, thanks!
