The bigger one becomes, it seems the blander one's TV persona becomes, whether by the direction of their management or something more personal. I've noticed some celebs who have become big commercial stars, particularly females, become more bland/mysterious in persona. Maybe their agencies want them to appeal to as many advertisers as possible? Or they are afraid of turning off any advertisers, future and current.
