    Thank you for a detailed video of this new mall. It seems beautiful. I might come to windowshop one day but the paid parking is a big turn-off. And besides a very few "luxury" stores, the rest looks like any other shopping mall with the same usual brands.

      Just so you know, they spent millions of dollars to build a overpass that is right next to the De La Savane metro station and bring you right inside the mall so you can take the public transportation as well, which I did. You can also come park your car next to the metro then take the overpass. That overpass is pretty cool as it is heated in winter time and cooled in summer time.

      yeah, when i heard about it i was hoping there would maybe be some stores that are only in the states or in other provinces maybe join or come back but yeah, aside from the luxury brands it just feels like another mall

    THANK YOU , the luxury goods for the rich ; not going to service , there are a parking fees too . (there many Small and big mall around that area ,are quiet ,at weekends there are people walking inside but not buying )

      For now it’s 864,000sqft. That’s phase 1. I don’t know how big it will be when they finish it.

    Sorry, but the mall is not that big, its smaller than Carrefour Laval and a little bit same size or smaller than Galerie Anjou. And Its not a good to shop at this mall when the sun gone cause it's not very bright. Its also a less that girls and boy intimities in the washroom and the parking fees and not to much parking is a less too

    I don't think is the second largest mall in Canada look small compare to square one in mississauga or Eaton center in Toronto or yorkdale mall in Toronto some people said the biggest mall in Canada is west Edmonton mall but I can see look a lot smaller than square one mall in mississauga Ontario Canada thanks for sharing your video take care bye from milton Ontario Canada

      Hi, I believe they are calculating the outdoor space and also the big aquarium that’s coming and that’s why they are calling it the 2nd largest mall in Canada. It’s not finished building, it will continue to grow over the next years.

      Square-One Mall is 2 million square feet. West Edmonton Mail is over 5 million square feet. I think it's pretty clear which one is bigger.

    N’est pas énorme, n’est pas le plus luxueux, les magasins son petite et les restaurants sont des petits kiosques avec quelques chaises !! Vraiment vous ne connaissez pas les centre commerciaux luxueux!! J’adore plus le centre commercial de point claire!!

    I am sorry it not the large mall , and not luxury at all, they want it to be luxury and trying to be but it's not, in food court erea there a security standing there so nobody gets in with other food , and that's very rude, pluse Starbucks and A&W they dont even have place to seat, there are lots of empty erea which makes it ugly and they used artificial trees in middle pluse the parking lot you have to pay at the end not my favorite mall at all, I prefer carfure laval which is more beautiful at keast it doesn't used artificial trees, sorry out of 10 I give make 3.

    Point 1 : C'est aberrant que l'on ne parle pas encore d'arrêter l'immigration non essentielle. Toute entrevue d'emploi spécialisé (ne pouvant être encouragée/pourvue par l'offre immédiate) peut se faire par internet et des visas de travail annuels peuvent être émis. De toute façon, beaucoup d'immigrés sont au pays par opportunisme, envoient tous leurs revenus (de travail ou sans) vers leur pays d'origine, là où la monnaie vaut souvent moins.
    Point 2 : le projet est construit sur un des secteurs industriels de la métropole. Les médias étant souvent aux contrôles des multinationales. L'on ne parle pas beaucoup de la dette nationale du Canada touchant présentement les 1,3 billion (presque 100 milliards par an de plus depuis Trudeau). Ce qui est pour une grande part dû au fait que le pays ne produit quasiment rien "de national" et concret, appartenant à sa propre économie (PIB = exploitation des ressources et profit pour l'étranger). Les multinationales appartiennent à l'étranger et sont orientées vers l'exploitation des ressources naturelles du pays, mais après... Le Canada n'est plus en 1960. De plus, le manque d'infrastructures prêtes et les salaires minimum ont tout pour éloigner les multinationales (en choix informatique) du pays. Les salaires/inflation étant surement influencés par l'étranger (Chine, Vietnam, Inde, etc.) pour leurs propres économies.
    Pour en venir au fait, ce sont des secteurs industriels qui doivent et devront être utilisés pour une favorisation d'entreprise nationale (à profit minimum, pour être concurrentiel...) pour compenser l'économie et les besoins non répondus. De plus, les petits employés se trouvent en ville (sans stationnement), plus qu'en banlieue, tout en rendant les transports plus intelligents qu'en congestionnant les routes.
    Non, à l'idiotie politique et à l'immigration excessive ! Ces sans fond vers la médiocrité. Ces dernières encouragent la surpopulation de la planète, parce que les pays envoyant leurs surplus de citoyens (souvent médiocres, opérationnels, si ce n'est que trop serrés) continuent d'en produire pour s'expandre, à la place de se faire obliger à une auto-responsabilisation devenant obligatoire.

      Bien que vous apportiez de bons points, nous sommes un canal de voyages et découvertes en famille et donc n’abordons pas de sujets politiques.
      Nous ne sommes pas liés ni commandités par Royalmount, ce ne fut qu’une sortie à ajouter à notre liste d’endroits à découvrir à Montréal et ailleurs.

    It is shocking to see that there is basically no French used anywhere in this new mall. Everything is in English, in this once French-speaking city. Aren't there any laws to protect French? Why would any francophone patronize this place?

      Everything is in French in big letters and then English in smaller letters just like required by the law. Their website opens in French which is rare anywhere. I think they are fine. The only thing is the name… Royalmount… I wondered about that.
