Thank you for a detailed video of this new mall. It seems beautiful. I might come to windowshop one day but the paid parking is a big turn-off. And besides a very few "luxury" stores, the rest looks like any other shopping mall with the same usual brands.
Thank you for watching the video and leaving a detailed comment! I agree about the parking. We thought the outdoors parking was free, but no both inside and out are paid parking. Fun to visit still. Have a great day!
Just so you know, they spent millions of dollars to build a overpass that is right next to the De La Savane metro station and bring you right inside the mall so you can take the public transportation as well, which I did. You can also come park your car next to the metro then take the overpass. That overpass is pretty cool as it is heated in winter time and cooled in summer time.
yeah, when i heard about it i was hoping there would maybe be some stores that are only in the states or in other provinces maybe join or come back but yeah, aside from the luxury brands it just feels like another mall
THANK YOU , the luxury goods for the rich ; not going to service , there are a parking fees too . (there many Small and big mall around that area ,are quiet ,at weekends there are people walking inside but not buying )

Sorry, but the mall is not that big, its smaller than Carrefour Laval and a little bit same size or smaller than Galerie Anjou. And Its not a good to shop at this mall when the sun gone cause it's not very bright. Its also a less that girls and boy intimities in the washroom and the parking fees and not to much parking is a less too

Hi, I believe they are calculating the outdoor space and also the big aquarium that’s coming and that’s why they are calling it the 2nd largest mall in Canada. It’s not finished building, it will continue to grow over the next years. Thanks for watching the video! Have a good evening! 😊
@@CLAU-clownYou are right, but if I understand properly this is phase 1, it’s still under construction and they are making it bigger to reach their allegation of 2nd largest mall in Canada.

I am sorry it not the large mall , and not luxury at all, they want it to be luxury and trying to be but it's not, in food court erea there a security standing there so nobody gets in with other food , and that's very rude, pluse Starbucks and A&W they dont even have place to seat, there are lots of empty erea which makes it ugly and they used artificial trees in middle pluse the parking lot you have to pay at the end not my favorite mall at all, I prefer carfure laval which is more beautiful at keast it doesn't used artificial trees, sorry out of 10 I give make 3.

It is shocking to see that there is basically no French used anywhere in this new mall. Everything is in English, in this once French-speaking city. Aren't there any laws to protect French? Why would any francophone patronize this place?
Everything is in French in big letters and then English in smaller letters just like required by the law. Their website opens in French which is rare anywhere. I think they are fine. The only thing is the name… Royalmount… I wondered about that.

Who had the great idea to build a HUGE mall in the most busy intersection in North America?
Lots if people, seemingly 10 years ago, or so we hear.
I don't think paying customers should pay for parking, just for that reason I'm out

For now it’s 864,000sqft. That’s phase 1. I don’t know how big it will be when they finish it.
