not sure about drilling the holes in the I-beams on the edge. It would certainly create a weak point if for example there is heavy snow load.

If your daisy chaining them together. The wire from supply to first light should be 12ga minimum. The wiring that comes with kit is 20ga, very weak and gets warm from supply to first light. Stay safe!
