I really dont believe Keith tried to deceive Aretha. They seemed to have a genuine friendship. Unfortunate that his career had been derailed by his personal life. Seems he made some unsavory choices for such a talented man.
Girl... "...soothes any past love disappointments." That sentence is too cheesy and fluff. Even your tone and affect is flat in saying the sentence. Why even bother to fluff your content with bland mess like that? Sometimes it's hard to tell when you are quoting someone because you're still just speaking. Certain words denote that you're speaking as that person. Consider saying, quote beforehand.
