Antonio Fargas is one the most successful black highly skilled talented actors. He had so many roles on television and movies. All of his work raised the bar of how excellent he became one of the greatest black male actors in the entertainment industry. Thanks for sharing the career and journey of an amazing great actor. 😎 😅😊

Very well delivered biography. Love him as Huggy Bear as I was born in 1973. My early years. Very talented man. Legendary.

Man, I was born in the same year, and I remember Starsky & Hutch as a concept, but can't remember anything about it, other than that it was about a pair of young cops and involved them driving in their car and I believe car chase scenes and other action. I've read about Huggy Bear as an adult, but don't remember the character. It ended soon after I turned 6. I assume that my memories of it are probably from reruns. I'll have to watch an episode with Huggy Bear to get an appreciation and understanding.

I had the pleasure of meeting Antonio Vargas in Vegas at a theater and he was so down to earth and didn't mind taking pics and giving autographs to his fans. Thanks for sharing this video of some of our black hero and shero actors and actresses. 🥰

I love Antonio Juan Fargas. He was so funny as Huggee Bear when I was little. We used to watch Starky and Hutch with my grandma. She loved that show, Baretta and Kojak! I went to see him in Car Wash. When he was on Martin, I taped it and watched it over and over to watch him!

Loved Antonio Fargas, especially in the Kenan Wayans film "I Gonna Git You Sucks" the scene where he's wearing a pair of Glass or Maybe Lucite shoes with swimming Goldfish inside was hilarious (Platform Shoes at that), his character was still Living in the 70's, therefore his outfit was as well 70's STYLED, very funny, i Didn't like his character on the T.V. Cop Drama Starsky and Hutch, much too Stereotyped for African American Actors 😡 BUT of course that was the TYPICAL portrayal of Street Characters who were African American actors during the 70's, he was so Underrated as a Actor.

I was in a small movie with Mr Fargas called The Riff.
It was filmed in Dallas, Tx.
    He was real cool.
I played the bass player in his band, which also included jazz pianist Joe Mcbride.
    It was a cool set

I love Antonio! I love watching the movies and tv shows of the 70s and he’s always in something. I was watching an episode of Policewoman and he played a pimp that gave Pepper information about a sleazy porno producer. Antonio is one of a kind. 🙂

Funny enough I saw him all thru the 70's as a child...would've been so gr8 to see him play a young Sammy Davis Jr...who also had a similar background from NYC of course

My cousin whose name is Marlene Warfield played his wife Mrs. Jackson in the movie 🎥 Across 110th St., and they were in the movie together, The Great White Hope in which my cousin played Clara the rejected girlfriend of James Earl Joneses character in the movie. My cousin's older then Antonio Fargas and she's retired from the movie industry. I've always enjoyed watching Antonio Fargas in the many roles he played. He's a phenomenal actor ❤❤❤❤❤
