China is gaining confidence in its tech sector, especially in semiconductors. It has developed its own advanced CPU, GPU, and NPU processors. China also has developed a domestic supply chain up to 14nm and is seeking to move that goal post to 7, 5, 3, and 2nm. China has produced 25% more international patents than the US as it moves ahead of the US in many tech sectors. The current tech wave is NEV and batteries where China leads in both categories. AI is a neck and neck race, but China seems to lead in applications. China graduates 8 times more STEM students than the US and graduates twice as many STEM PhD's making China lead in STEM human resources that are needed to advance technologies. US sanctions against Chinese tech companies have fundamentally failed and China is beginning to counter US hubris by restricting minerals such as gallium, germanium, cobalt. and graphene. China has also restricted its patents on rare earth processing, so China is countering the US where the US can least find alternate sources. 2024 will be a pivotal year as we see more and more revelations about Chinese innovations that continues China's rise. It seems that US sanctions against China have only put China on steroids in advancing technologies.

The US with it's significant educational facilities and open attitude previously to foreign skilled professionals used to be attractive to foreigners .. those days are behind us.. we no longer attract intellectual talent but dissuade many into going elsewhere unfortunately our society is heavily dependent on foreign born skilled professionals to maintain our support infrastructure.

The ‘ boomerang ‘ effects are now taking place at those perpetrators who initiated all those unnecessary sanctions & outright trade wars against China , which will not yield to any economic & technical intimidations at its progress. In fact, China has accelerated its progress in many technical sectors on digital & AI developments. Some of these western countries would find themselves playing ‘ catch up ‘ instead of leading in those vital fields of technical & human developments.!

It is a tragedy that fear escalates the loss of confidence in ourselves and the US is not helped by its Allies to see the folly with this attitude. Growth and decline are essential phenomena of life because Change is Perpetual. Human beings do only appreciate and yearn for the state of continual elevation of emotion and wish the Change doesn’t occur.

The US should early recognize the result of sanction on such a persistently diligent & aggressive country would reap counter-sanctions. Such c-sanctions are more severe & hard to bear. Better change your will to befriend China & ask for help.
