On January 6th, 2009, Walter “Wolfman” Washington took to the stage aboard the oceanic music festival Jam Cruise to perform a deliciously soulful rendition of ”I Want to Know” with the jazz-funk sextet Galactic. This blues-infused funky team-up was also joined by fellow New Orleanians Trombone Shorty on trumpet and “Big Sam” Williams on trombone.
