The best guide for exh valve grinding.
Thank you Chief for the informative video. Many Engineers do not change the grinding wheel when changing parts.
Thank you for watching my video. I hope this video is helpful to you. God bless.
What is the reason behind the 0.03mm gap for grinding stone and less than 0.01mm each run?
Hi, thanks for watching.
1. Vertical slide 0.03mm for first grinding.
when you raise the vertical slide to touch the valve seat surface, make a gap 0.03mm between the grinding stone & valve seat surface. It is good for start grinding In my experience. Because if you not use a filler gauge & only depend on your sight when you adjust the vertical slide, it is possible to happen that you will make a mistake of grinding too much at first grinding or you will spend long time to set the vertical slide for grinding.
2. Feed by the depth of cut to less than 0.01mm
To avoid rough grinding.
I hope that my answer will be helpful to you.
See you again. God blessed.
