    Great video , thank you . I broke my foot working out and I have an avulsion fracture. I was prescribed Voltaren for pain and an air boot. I was told to use crutches when walking, so I’m able to put weight on the foot. The pain has decreased drastically , I’m on my 2nd week since the injury. Do you recommend waking on the foot, can I do lil exercises like toe movements/ankle rotations and should I continue to rest and ice ?

    Hi, what does it mean ortho f/v at 4:10? I have Jones fracture now, it is refractured, the first fracture was a half year ago. During the "accident"my foot had very little load (twisted ankle what happens with everyone almost every day) and fractured again. No jumping, no running. Will it happen every year? The bone displacement is very small, the doctor suggested plastic boot without any surgery treatment.

    how to know someone have Jones fracture or not, without visit to orthopedic? i have injured my 5th metatarsal 3 times in 4 month. 1st i'm doing brisk walk, 2nd when hiking hill, and the third one repeating injury not long after the second one. i went to regular clinic every time, and doing x-ray once, and find no fracture. the doc suspect i have a sprain muscle at first, but another doc suspect i have a problem with my nerve. the pain is unbearable, my foot swollen and have difficulty to walk. with RICE treatment, it take almost 2 weeks to heal and to walk normally. is my repeated injury related to Jones fracture?

    I just got a fracture on the 5th metatarsal. The doctor did put a NWB synthetic cast around it and has asked me to keep it that way for 6 weeks. Watching the videos and then the X-rays, I am not sure if mine is a Jones fracture or a stress fracture as the crack line seems to be close to the line delineating both the zones. Hopefully it will get better. If not basketball, I at least want to return back to running :(

    I want to amputate this part of my foot it's been 4 years that if had pain in this part of my left foot I am tired of this I just want to feel normal again it feels like you are stepping on a pebble the whole time, when I went to the doctor's the xray said no fracture a sprain, I am tired of this I get fatigued real easily after being on my feet for 8+ hours a day, I get home and I'll I do is get on my phone for the rest of the day because of being limited on what I can do, it makes me feel hopeless just want to lay my foot on some train tracks and get my foot chopped off, FML

    • @FallingOranges
      @FallingOranges 5 лет назад

      Maybe see if you can get your doctor to check for swelling around the bone, only reason I'm suggesting this is because I'm currently suffering from foot pain myself, (feels like I'm stepping on a pebble like yourself at the best and like my foot's stuck in a clamp at the worst) and while I need an MRI scan to confirm, my x-ray showed evidence of swelling in this area.
