The moment MU knew their winning streak was over 😂😂
I remember being 11 years old when I first saw this and I genuinely thought in order to get into college I had to join a frat and be really good at dancing
Laz Alonzo is such an under appreciated black actor
Sly knew right then and there he had a monster squad and it was on and popping
This was one of my favorite scenes ever in a dance film, for damn sure
That eagles celebration was hard 😂🔥
@@CARUNNERUP we have another great season coming up!
Grant's expression on his face is like DAMN, DJAY GONNA WHIP MY ASS
Still having the top 2 step teams at the same college or university is IMPOSSIBLE.
its a movie. relax
Spring /Fall 1992 Kappa Kappa Psi - Iota Xi /C.I.O and Omega Psi Phi - Pi Gamma /Devine Nine at Norfolk State University were the 2 best step teams on the yard.
This inspired me to get into the gym just to do that dance on the hill "theta, theta"....doesn't mean I look like those guys 😭🤦♂️🤣
Showtime use to take me out😂😂
Showtime😫😂
By the look of the pledge they getting their doctorate
They needed this to be a stomp battle because NeYo would smoke all of them in singing
Agree
I love this scene and the movie
To the best of my recollection, two lines never crossed on the same night. Every frat/sorority wanted to have the spotlight to themselves.
Those are the times when they actually told stories in movies, now they just put any dang thing on film.
And people just say any nonsense in these comment sections wtf are you even banging on about 🤦🏽
Lmfao trying to look hard as a dance crew 😂 laugh to this day.! Great movie though
They’re a stomp crew
Damn, I forgot Yung Mothers Milk was in this movie lmao
OH BROTHA WE GOTTA KEEP PUSHIN WE GOTTA KEEP MOVIN WE GOTTA KEEP FIGHTING 🔥🔥🔥🔥

“Indeed” 😂😂😂
The Philadelphia Eagles checked in
I was in Greek Life in uni. I so wish I had gotten to experience being in a Sorority at an HBCU but in Canada, we don't learn about those institutions. I wish I knew then what I know now.
I guess that’s why Atlanta is known as “THE STEPPING CAPITAL OF THE SOUTH”

Is there a movie about black culture that Neyo isn't in?
Is this like adult pattycake practice? I don't get it. I feel like they are gonna bust out some double Dutch and hopscotch next
Pretty inconsiderate leader for not letting the others introduce themselves 😂
The guys that introduced themselves were only gonna be the main characters though so It made sense not to show everyone else😂.
I was born 84 I know a lot of dudes in late 80's early 90's look like grown as men 😂😂😂😂
Jc
I’m here cuz the eagles 😂
2:48 is that Jay Pharoah?
No
1:41 second in line; is that Kanye?!
Also shoutouts to Ne-Yo as Showtime!
I've never understood hazing. How i'm suppose to let you beat me, paddle me, dog me, and harass me for 8 weeks, and then magically you're my brother? Sure, I build a kinship with my line mates from shared suffering, but i'm going to resent the hell out of every "big brother" who participated. The military its building discipline. You follow orders, chain of command. There is a true purpose in enduring the abuse in basic, and even more so advanced training programs, and you STILL end up hating your TO.
It funny you should say this. I went through basic training twice. I don't know about hazing by fraternities/sororities because it is illegal in all 50 states but yet it done in the military. You are lying about it not being done in the military. SAY SOMETHING SO I CAN CALL YOU OUT. However, I did go through a process of becoming a "Brother" at an HBCU with 6 other men. The attention to detail (IE class & group learning), the being on time (meeting for projects), the observing of surrounding (learning how to interact with people) , and what to say and how to say (speeches that took place from the heart) it made me stand out amongst my peers. I was love my subordinates, admired by some of my peers but hated by a lot of my leadership. I refuse to settle for just anything. I made learning and achieving about everything in my MOS/AFSC my top priority for me and my fellow service members. I knew they had families to get home to like I did. Also the military, was only for a season. So I want to make sure that they were set up for success in case he/she decide to leave. I don't regret doing both. I just wish I could have help more service members sooner.
@@pjbrice6950 I think you’re misunderstanding, the way drill instructors and line leaders treated recruits were similar in the 80s. Training officers didn’t magically become your brother afterwards. They were hard on you with a purpose. How would similar treatment by “big brothers” create a bond?
Poor mans Samoan slap dance = stepping.
Lol aww, you wanna feel appreciated.
Respect to Samoa but y’all definitely don’t have the same rhythm 😂
Stepping predates the Samoan slap dance.
Y’all do realize especially at HBCUs, this isn’t accurate at all. Probate shows are not done one after another gtfoh
Cring
Gayest movie of all time?
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
