YESSS I miss your fountain pen reviews. Your 823 review was one of the reviews I watched before I bought mine. I found you through fountain pens long long ago and stayed for pipes & your amazing video game playthroughs, love those. I just inked up my 823 over the weekend. Mines been with me back and forth across the country so many times every year through TSA, jammed in my pocket in movie theaters or riding bikes. Love it so much still. My favorite fountain pen. This video brings so much nostalgia. Keep it up, young man! Always appreciated.
Great review, Bradley! Yep, it's definitely an amazing writing experience. If Pilot came out with a handful of new basic colours for the 823 the fountain pen world would explode 😂 Also loved the shooting style/angles, it's uncommon in my experience but works great!
Awesome pen! I have a Visconti Poseidon, Conklin mark twaing limited edition, and a Conklin duragraph that was 40 bucks and out of all three the duragraph takes the win for my daily pen. I use Parker blue-black ink in it with a fine nib.
Very nice video - glad you rediscovered this pen! I am currently looking at perhaps getting a Otto Hutt fountain pen, to break free from my Faber-Castell addiction. :P
Looks just like the Jinhao pens from China (waaay cheaper than the Pilot); I got them in batches of three, different color barrels (I typically use different colors of ink per project and the barrel color can match the ink color). Gold nibs on the fountain pens and you can get replacements in multiple sizes for next to nothing, which you can also use in dip pen handles. I also have the Jinhao pens in roller ball. All of these write smoothly and the pens are heavier than the thin barrel pens, making them balance in your hand nicely, whether you use them with the cap on the back end or with it off. Personally, on big projects (over 300 pages or so) I have a preference for dip pens that you never have to "refill" as they are constantly going into the ink and you can use the same pen when using different colors of ink (I have little ink pots with screw lids that you can refill when those get low). I don't have anything at all against Pilot products, of which I have a multitude and like them very much, especially their ink. Thanks for your review.

Thanks for sticking around! How's your 823 holding up after so much use?
Great stuff, your thing.
I also found few months ago my ~15 years old Montblanc 145 and it feels wonderful using it after so much time.
Ooh! That's a nice pen!

Good call! I'd love a green version.
