Being from Mamelodi I wished this pod wouldn't end it's like sitting with your uncles and hearing them talk about things that happened before you were alive, beautiful. Thanks Bra Dave please have this well spoken gent back soon, I don't know what you're going to talk about mara net somar.
After having watched many of these ex prisoners stories I am not only in awe of how much the correctional services try to rehabilitate them but cant stop thinking about how as a society we could prosper if we really had governments that fulfilled their mandate for service delivery. A well functioning government should be as organised, as considerate as well meaning as the correctional services department so that we prevent many other people from falling through the cracks.
So on the issue of Hammanskraal , the water in that area has high naturally occurring fluoride, when children’s teeth are still developing, this high fluoride causes brown stains and discolouration that looks like decay. In actual fact those teeth are very strong and protected from decay, but the stains look very unpleasant .

This was one informative and honest interview. Big up to Mr Dumisane for taking accountability for his previous mistakes he made without blaming anyone. Thanks King David for the great interview 🙏
Dumisani you are my intake 2004, I like the truth you are speaking , I learn a lot from you my brother, I am also an ex-Police I resigned that's interesting when you speak about Police environment and the Trainers such as Inspector kgampempe❤
Wow what a good story. I remember going to see my dad in Modderbee prison and my mom told us daddy was in boarding school my brother was 5 years and i was 7years
Aaaah our fellow brother 🙏🏽... I grew up in Hammanskraal too but now live in England. My late dad taught at his school, I felt goosebumps when he mentioned his high school 🥹. The power of the Internet 🤍✨️such a great story teller! Loved every minute of this episode 😁
Waow what a good story teller... This brother want you to listen to him more... Popcasts are giving us stories which we could never get on TV or Radio. King Dave shout out bro. ✊
Interesting insight I must say, thanks Dumisani for sharing your story.... Its stories like these that exposes the mess we find ourselves in as a country, and they expose the root level... Unfortunately poor leadership continue to hit us hard... Otherwise great interview Mdeva, you never fail to deliver Abuti!👊
My brother, you mention Inspector Kampepe, you brought tears to my eyes. I have never met an officer so disciplined and passionate about his calling. Being a drill Sergent was a calling for him, Inspector Baloyi was, a funny but strict guy.
If you'd start a tv show that will focus on inmate who finished their time in prison and maybe help them find their place in the community. We need something like that to speak to those who are on the wrong way to prison and those inside etc. That would really be great for ex prisoner's to have a voice too.
Sure King David, Lepara leo le original. We went to Saps college together ka 2004 and he is funny and open minded person. I am pleased to hear his voice and see his face again, and he is great story teller. Thanks Boss yaka.
I love a person who comes from prison with a mindset like his. Not a person whom you can see that his still the same person with the same old agenda. The sad thing is that such people trend on social media a lot for being notorious.
King D when Nyundu speaks of w/o Kgampepe he brings tears to my ears bro nd i feel him he s a real cop , who got tempted nd i think it was a blessing in disguise for him to leave the Saps, i wish to meet him , m still in the service bt i wish we had leader like him who went through basic training
Politics and nepotism is ruining everything good in South Africa, the guy Dumisani is worth listening to from his humble beginning's, very smart and inspirational.
This episode didn't go the way I had anticipated it would, yet it was still so interesting. I never thought I'd say this, but it was too short... Lovely work David!
As someone who is from Hammaskraal and also grew up in Mpumalanga in areas like Marapyane, Mmametlhake, Phake, Seabe, Loding, Matimpule, Vaalbank, I can relate to this story.
