This megazord reminds me of the Blaze megazord from Ninja Steel. It’s a very simplistic megazord with even more simplified zords that don’t really do much. Even then, both megazord still do when they were meant to do fairly well and aren’t the worst we’ve ever gotten
Why was Hasbro doing so good before when they originally made the beast x Megazord and now they’re just making the megazord so cheap looking but they cost so much
Woof. I mean, it's perfectly good. But... for $72, I'd have expected some added articulation. Definitely wouldn't have been hard given what they've done with Transformers recently.
Great comparison! I think people who want the Japanese ones have more access than ever, but it would be nice if the Hasbro version was a bit cheaper to make it worth the compromise. And yes they did a fantastic job with Dino Fury and they deserve credit for that!
The toy isn't bad, but the major issue is that it's a step down from the previous megazords Hasbro has made for Beast Morphers and Dino Fury. And it costs too much for what it offers. Why they didn't include leg joints is beyond me. That would have been a better sacrifice than that gray sled they gave us. It really seems like they tried to get all zords together in a set. But the only reasonable way they could would be in the Mega Pack style they did before. But they didn't engineer the Megazord enough to feel like it warranted that price point and instead just threw extra stuff that's not from the show. Like the Lion Zord being able to be its own humanoid robot. Speaking of which why didn't just include a 2nd red globe for that mode? Why another yellow one?
@@MMPRtoysProbably cause they wanted to keep that price point. The 2 gift sets from Dino fury were $72 on Amazon. Here's hoping the 2 individual sets are still the same price as th Dino fury zords.
Things like this with the effort given are worth $10 at a flea market. I was raised with die cast metal and good morals. This is just plastic. These companies need to stop ripping off the consumers, and start paying their employees 100x more. I’m serious these problems are serious. God bless everything.
Man, I've seen Bruno talk about finances getting in the way of continuing to collect PR/Sentai stuff so seeing him waste his money on this for the review is really disheartening /:
Bruno has a ton of people supporting him on Patreon, and he has a lot of channel members, so he most likely uses that to pay for the toys. He has it a lot easier than most people in the fandom.
I really love the zord builder play pattern, and I think that the Cosmic Fury stuff could be really fun because of the mix and matching aspect, but I just don't know how many people would be willing to collect a bunch of megazords if they are all priced like this one. Collectors, maybe, but the average person?
As a collector myself, I always make sure the price justifies the product. In other words: Am I getting my money's worth? Or am I overpaying? And Cosmic Fury Megazord is NOT worth it IMO. Give the thing a better paint job, and more articulation Hasbro, then we'll talk.
@@nine_tails137facts dude, they could’ve easily put some articulation in the arms and legs but instead they decided not to do that, paint the kyutama’s solid colors and put that shit at a high price That’s as if someone put the ninja steel megazord up for 100 bucks
@@Siromuse I own the Dino Fury Megazord, and I can confirm it's WAY BETTER! While T-Rex Champion and Tiger Claw zords have the most articulation, compared to the other 3 zords, I'm having way more fun with Dino Fury's combinations. My only nitpick being some connections are tighter/looser than others(Ex: Tiger Claw zord connection is tight, while T-Rex Champion drill piece is a bit loose, but not fall off loose. Just easy to remove loose)
As i said in the last video, it's all cool if the Hasbro megazord doesn't have lights or sounds or whatever, it's not the end of the world. But like... What are you gonna do with the Kyutamas? You currently can't use them for anything else and they don't seem to have any identifiers for toys to tell them apart. It's just a big missed potential. Like imagine if Dino Fury had the head keys but the keys went nowhere but as the heads, wouldn't that tick you off?
I had such high hopes for this megazord (especially with the articulation) but it's s quite honestly a big letdown. Dino Fury Megazord is probably the best mainline megazord in the last decade so having this as its' successor is quite disappointing. What happened, Hasbro?
Amazon exclusive? Are they crazy? Oh who am I kidding, this is Hasbro, the kings of stupid ideas like making seasons only be 10 episodes or netflix exclusive with no physical media and overcharging on kids toys, transformers line included.
I prefer the Japanese one bc the ball is more better than the USA one. The USA one look like regular ball color and for the Japanese it’s more like a crystal and it’s clear see through
This is a Bandai America throwback right here, not as cool as the Beast Morphers and Dino Fury stuff Hasbro did. The Mini-Pla upscaled is what I expected Hasbro to be like Oh I mean "reeeeee Hasbro bad Sentai good" even though Kyurenoh is still mid LMAO Also "Dinoballs" is very sus of you
Must have been a cost issue. They already upgraded the articulation for Beast Morphers, Dino Fury, Mighty Morphin, and In Space. But at the same time, for over $70 I'd think they could do better than this.
For some reason Cosmic Megazord's back coupling and the removable lion head really does says more zords are coming! Maybe Pink Condor? Purple Dragon? Phoenix Rocket for an Ultrazord combo? Maybe the Baby Lion Zord (Kojishi Voyager)
I really don't understand hasbro's decisions here when I compare not only to previous hasbro PR releases, but current hasbro releases in that price range. 72$ is somewhere between a leader class and commander class transformer. Those all seem to me to have not just significantly more points of articulation, but denser plastic, more paint, and a higher parts count. Granted, they're also smaller-- but not so much smaller that you'd expect a larger 72$ figure to come with sentai brick articulation. Is it that expensive to engineer molds modified from the originals? Did that cost in engineering suddenly skyrocket between the previous line and this one? Maybe the two lines are just targeted at different age ranges-- but then how can they expect to sell at such a steep price? I just don't understand the logic behind the decision. No possibility seems reasonable.
My only guess is that this is Amazon's sorry excuse for a box set. The regular retail release likely won't have the swords or the silly sled. And yes, even at regular retail release pricing, it's still steep for something that's missing so much paint. This is Bandai America levels of bad, in terms of details, features, and gimmicks. As a basic toy, it's alright. But as part of some overpriced box set? Third time definitely ain't the charm for Hasbruh or ScAmazon.
Think this is why I will stick with the Minipla. Not bad but $70 is really high for the lack of articulation and detail. Either way though great video and good review 😊
I still think the BEST Megazord from Power Rangers as a whole is the Supertrain Megazord. You can fit a Megazord into it, and use it in model train sets and tracks. It's also HUGE! (Like every Megazord should be)
I still wish someone had done a proper electric train set (or at least battery operated). I was so hoping ToQger would in their main line or at least a fancier thing for collectors. I don't know if you saw, but I ended up modifying the candy toys to be n-scale electric trains. They run now.

When we got the gold cockpit capsule originally for the Tenbin Voyager but no word on the Zord version... Wonder if that and the one based on Hebitsukai Voyager will be released at all, even as part of the 5-inch figure line...
I like the swords and the assault team plate which kind of becomes a packsack. Maybe it could have be designed a little more with the backpack mode in mind but overall looks cool!
I can’t see the price being justified but, you definitely can get more play out of this then, the original Kuyren-Oh since it can combine with the previous Dino Fury Zords
I'm glad they made it "Zordbuilder" that does help. But also keep in mind KyurenOh had lights and sound, and a million different Kyutamas. Plus we have to see how many Cosmic Fury Zords we end up with. There are all sorts of mystery pegs and holes on the new Megazord. I assume that's for something...
I do agree on two points. Hasbro did great with the Dino Fury zords and we can give them credit for doing well on their version of the Ryusoulger toys and that leaves me to the next point. I also agree that their version of Kyurenoh feels like a letdown. The reason for that is that they did such a good job on the Dino Fury zords, but didn't do such a good job on the Cosmic Fury zords. I think that if I were a big Sentai fan today as I was in the past, I think I would have gone for the Kyuranger toys if I wanted to have a Cosmic Fury Megazord. You do get more detail and more features. It's also easier than ever to get the Japanese counterparts for a cheaper price than the American toys these days if you know where to look.
The price seems to be because they retain all the Kyurenoh zord features aside from the electronics. The paint just makes it look so cheap. Bruno not having a section for “the mouth doesn’t open” says something, since he brought that up in nearly every Bandai America zord review… or BA really lowered my expectations in comparison.
The mouth does open, I showed it in the video. Green even has the tongue! I was sure Hasbro would have lost that feature. Blue, Black, and Green have mouths that open. And as I'm sure we'd all hope, Red, since that's the face! I can't defend the price. We know what Bandai was able to do for $20 - $30. I used the inflation calculator and came up with $40ish. Wild Force Megazord today would be $50, Isis Megazord would be $100. Q-Rex would be $150. I just can't figure out how it's over $70. For the people saying $10, no, it is five Zords, they transform, they have paint, some extra accessories, but still, it's a lot for what it is. Another note is Bandai had to pay Saban for the licenses, while Hasbro produces the show and toys. Not sure exactly how that affects the prices we pay, but it was a thing I was aware of during Bandai.
@@MMPRtoys I haven't heard about that last bit about licensing, very interesting! You've been a big defender on the toy prices, so I understand this one being overpriced is a big deal.
i would say i was disappointed with the design but i already knew Hasbro was going to remove the electronics so no surprise there, i am glad i own a copy of most of the kyuranger mecha just have to get Gigant Houou to complete my personal collection, i was hoping for articulation to be added to this toy like how Hasbro did with the dino fury zords, was still hoping for the raptors and the packa zords but for now I will be smart and go for an already finished toy line verses the incompleteness of the Hasbro era toy line
Between Hasbro's Dino Fury Megazord and Cosmic Fury Megazord, Dino Fury still wins for me. Cosmic Fury is underwhelming in both panting, sculpting, and articulation. Especially since Cosmic Fury Megazord has no leg articulation. Basically making it a brick with arms, rather than an action figure, AND raising the damn price.
3:53 That's not surprising, a lot of people talk shit but when it's time to do something they run away. I'm a sentai collector so even if I skipped this series and Lupin, I'll eventually get it down the road cause it's just mandatory for me to have in the collection and I know more places to get them so I got no qualms skipping Ebay listings.
I have a Kyu Ranger Megazord like that from a non-original product. only bootleg products from china. but the size, details and quality are almost as good as the original product from bandai. only difference is the sound and light system... So I can say that the non-original product that I have is still better than Hasbto's product
As beautiful as it is I will not be spending $73 on that I honestly feel like they are over charging but maybe sometime in the future I might if it ever gets discounted I may get that $37 kyu ren oh though
Yup, Japanese version with lights and sounds definitely the better choice but not to say this is a bad version. It’s not a Zap Megazord so price is a little steep for what it is. I do think the kyutamas should be transparent.
@@mohammedalnajjar4360 There could be an issue with yours, but I own three of these. They plug right in w/o an issue. I can't further comment w/o seeing what yours is doing. Sometimes there's an issue with a design and everyone has the issue, that's not the case here. I probably would have tried to exchange in your case, or contact Hasbro.
I think if this was released by saban, it would receive no strong feelings, whether good or bad (quality wise, I’m ignoring the price). And that the disappointment with this is a testament to how much Hasbro raises the bar with it’s Beast Morphers and Dino Fury Megazords, cause those were really good figures, especially in terms of price.
Like, it's not a terrible toy for a kid...but it's not $72. The Dino Fury Zord was great in the long run - despite the weird release schedule. Is this a comment on how much faith they have in this Cosmic Fury experiment? Will we get the Dragon and the Rocket Ship? Is the extra orb supposed to be Zaytos'?
Honestly, I'd much prefer the Sazer X mechas over the Kyuranger ones, now those I'd buy, considering they were more poseable than any mecha that came out that year, during 2005!
I wish that $37 KyurenOH! Would ship to Australia, sadly a lot of the good EBay listings and even some of the Amazon ones won’t but at least others can get a bargain
i can't see the justification from hasbro to make this so expensive when just getting the dx or minipla kyurenoh would be a much better use of money...
Can't believe that's 70 quid... Also heads up the two megazord links the one for Dino fury is a beast morphers zord and the cosmic is actually the Dino fury
Would it be that surprising if MMPRtoys got something early? We're a pretty major Power Rangers channel... (but as I said in the video yesterday, it just randomly went in stock)
That’s something that always amuses me about fandoms. Just because something goes wrong somewhere, or the franchise is going through a rough patch, it suddenly means the entire franchise is dead! Suddenly everything in the past was suddenly perfect and everything in the present is automatically bad! But hey, the internet loving drama? What else is new right? The internet also letting nostalgia paint their views of the past in a rose coloured tint?! Next you’ll be telling me the sky is blue! Now I’m by no means defending Hasbro here. This Megazord should NOT cost $75! This is a mistake and something they should be brought to terms on! Heck I’ll be the first to tell them that they’ve kinda given us in the UK the short end of the stick when it comes to the Lightning Collection (as of me writing this comment Red Turbo, Blue Lightspeed, and Yellow RPM are STILL not up for pre-order on the UK Hasbro Pulse site). I’m not saying by any means that we should let their mistakes go unnoticed! What I’m saying is that we can’t let their mistakes become the only thing we focus on, to the point where we ignore the decent things they do.

I fully believe that the designers were given a smaller budget to work which is why this is a massive step down from the Dino Fury Zords.
I just noticed that the lion zord wields dino fury swords
Yeah. I'm sticking with the imports.
Thank you for the review MMPRtoys!
All your points in the video are excellent Bruno.
Agreed
idk why it comes with the gold globe on the red lion zord
It doesn’t
@@Siromuse wait is it yellow or gold... I'm so confused 0_0
"DINO BALLS C O M B I N E" ☠️
As beautiful as it is I will not be spending $73 on that I honestly feel like they are over charging but maybe sometime in the future I might if it ever gets discounted I may get that $37 kyu ren oh though
i think it’s fine as a children’s toy for a children’s show, but it’s definitely overpriced. i hope it comes down in price by the time the show’s out.
Yup, Japanese version with lights and sounds definitely the better choice but not to say this is a bad version. It’s not a Zap Megazord so price is a little steep for what it is. I do think the kyutamas should be transparent.
Love your videos keep up the great work guys
HOW DID YOU GET THE TAIL TO STICK ON TO THE BACK OF DINO FURY MEGAZORD MINES DOESNT EVEN GO ON THEIR
It just plugs right in.
@@MMPRtoys idk about that no matter how much I push it in it pops off
@@mohammedalnajjar4360 There could be an issue with yours, but I own three of these. They plug right in w/o an issue. I can't further comment w/o seeing what yours is doing. Sometimes there's an issue with a design and everyone has the issue, that's not the case here. I probably would have tried to exchange in your case, or contact Hasbro.
I prefer the Korean version because it’s more screen accurate
Than the Japan version...?
@@MMPRtoys equal to the Japanese version
Come on Mia let him have another Megazord. He'll owe you then. 😊
Tbh I'm glad it doesnt have poseable legs. the poseability of the Dino Fury zords just made the combinations unstable
I feel like Ban Dai did better Zords and role play items, but Hasbro is doing better figures.
You guys had it lucky.
Over here in the Philippines it would cost thousands of pesos
Here this here this it time go to ludicrous speed From space ball 😀
I wish that $37 KyurenOH! Would ship to Australia, sadly a lot of the good EBay listings and even some of the Amazon ones won’t but at least others can get a bargain
1:46 LovethisPose
i can't see the justification from hasbro to make this so expensive when just getting the dx or minipla kyurenoh would be a much better use of money...
Well I'll get it next week when I get payed from my job.❤💛🖤💙💚
Thank you for the review you guys are awesome❤
It feels so strange that they're using the Kyuranger mechas, but explicitly not the suits, hope the season's good tho!
Its not bad but $72 USD is overpriced
Can't believe that's 70 quid... Also heads up the two megazord links the one for Dino fury is a beast morphers zord and the cosmic is actually the Dino fury
I take it you're not in the US. The links are fine in my end, but sometimes that happens for people outside of the US, for whatever reason.
@@MMPRtoys that must be it just wanted to let you know in case 😊
Thanks for the review 💜
How did you get it doesn’t come out until October
Would it be that surprising if MMPRtoys got something early? We're a pretty major Power Rangers channel...
(but as I said in the video yesterday, it just randomly went in stock)
3:20 I miss Bandai
Dino balls sounds gross and space balls is the name of a movie so there would probably be some copyright issues
Definitely going to pass on this for now unfortunately. Based on the look of it the quality to price ratio is just extremely unbalanced.
According to Facebook the cosmic fury megazord has Cosmic Orbs attach to the zords
Oh, you mean the space balls?
@@DividedAsOneYes😅
