If movies were rated with stars this one would be off the charts. It is a compelling and gut wrenching story about the human experience. There is no sugar coating anything here. This movie will have you experiencing all of your emotions. Even those you may have thought were forgotten. It encompasses all of the joy and agony every gay man can relate to no matter what his age. It will bring you to tears.

Excellent and beautiful film with my favorite two handsome and beautiful characters playing an interracial homosexual relationship on the beach at the beautiful ocean. Doesn't get any better than that for a night at the movies. In fact, it's romantic and shows the reality of life as real as it can be two young men expressing their love for each other in an innocent and caring scene makes you almost forget it's a film and must see the complete LGBTQ film in it's entirety. Unless it's a short.

It’s about time society is beginning to understand that the shade of one’s skin is no different than hair or eye color. Under that thin epidermis resides identical characteristics. Superficial differences are the result of environmental and geographical conditions across various parts of the world over hundreds of thousands of years. And the concept of race was created by man as a way to separate people by superficial differences. Race is NOT a naturally occurring phenomena. If people would chose to eliminate the word race from their vocabulary, maybe we can move beyond type casting people.

this is a really good movie. I read the ending as happy-that they are wandering off together. Anyone else see it that way? i would love a sequel. I wonder what is in the background of the skinny guy that he is so wracked with phobias??? i just love the Black Guy.

This was really good! I enjoyed the build up and tension. However- not a fan of the ending. But I guess it’s to be expected smh. Maybe one day we’ll get more happy endings.
Leroy--I can understand your frustration with the ending! I was like that at the beginning...but, a lot of people didn't understand the ending because they missed the director's foreshadowing in this clip--you just watched--when they were having a deep conversation underneath the cliffs! The conversation they had in this clip ties with the ending of the film! You have to go back and pay close attention to this conversation and connect it to the ending of the film to truly appreciate how brilliant and clever the director was when he directed this beautiful and masterful film!

Daniel--I understand how you once felt...you have to go back and rewatch it again and pay close attention to this scene from the film when they talked about dreams! That conversation they had connects with the ending of the film! Once you truly understand the connection...you will develop a deeper appreciation for this film!

@@danielhirschberg876 -- Probably not Johnny's first male kiss since he fooled around with Purple--at the opening of the film! Johnny might have felt very uncomfortable being touched and kissed by Romeo because of his bad experience/one-night stand with Purple.
As far as this scene where Johnny and Romeo were having a conversation about what happens when you die...that was very important to the ending because the director had foreshadowed or prepared us for what will happen to Johnny later on in the film! When Johnny was stabbed by Purple...he died right after that attack or assault. Therefore...when he opened his eyes after death--he was surrounded in darkness--his heart stopped beating...but his brain was still working for 5 minutes and there was no sense of timing in the 'Dream World'...and in those moments...that dream that he was about to dream--will last forever and forever!--just like he said in this film's clip!
So, when Johnny died--he dreamt of being with Romeo walking on the beach--holding hands--with no fear of intimacy--not caring about what society thought of their relationship! It was as if a 'Blue Heaven' was surrounding them--as they walked hand-to-hand alongside the shores of the coastline! Johnny couldn't be with Romeo in his real 'waking' life since his life was cut short by Purple. So, that was his 'FINAL DREAM' after he died that will last 'FOREVER AND FOREVER'! That was Johnny's final portrait of his life as an artist before he departed from this world!
That was such a very 'powerful, emotional, and beautiful scene' that many audience members didn't catch or understood towards the end of the film!

Yeah, this film is another fine example of why I hate gay romance movies - they NEVER end in happiness (at least, this is what my experience has been with them so far and I've seen plenty).
The quality of acting need to be seriously polished. Some of the acting need to be more realistic, not with fake dialogue, such as jumping off the cliff and the float scene. Please focus on keeping the scenes real with quality dialogues. Thank you
